Jat Candidate in UP Election

Whatever we write on a public forum, we must try to cheque/confirm before writing (as far as some informative matter is concerned).
..........................................................................................................................................................................

The census of 1881 enumerated 1,929 castes. Brahmins, Kunbis and Chamars accounted for approximately 10 million each. Of these 1,929 castes, 1,432 (74 per cent) were geographically localized groups and each caste or tribe is unique to a particular place. Only few castes like Brahmins had an all-India presence.

Brahmins are one of many minority groups in India. In 1931, Brahmins were 4.32% of the total population. The so-called Muslim minority in India is approximately 20 to 25 percent of the total population, even after Muslim Pakistan and Muslim Bangladesh separated from India. However, registered Muslim percentage is only ~15%, less than the real percentage of the total population, due to misrepresentation. Brahmins even in Uttar Pradesh, where they are most numerous, constitute just 9 percent. In Tamil Nadu they form less than 3 percent and in Andhra Pradesh they are less than 2 percent.

During the Islamic conquests in India, it was a typical policy to single out the Brahmins for slaughter, after the Hindu warriors had been bled to death on the battlefield. Even the Portuguese in Malabar and Goa followed this policy in the 16th century, as can be deduced from Hindu-Portuguese treaty clauses prohibiting the Portuguese from killing Brahmins.

Upendra bro i have checked on google & find out that the Poppulation of brahmins is 9% of the total poppulation on India in 1931.So in present it will also be nearer to this with a margin of +-1 .

Yes in UP the poppulation data which shows on google is 10-13 % but nobody can deny their dominancy due to their higher educational & social status which matters a lot in politics.

1. In a significant development, the Rashtriya Lok Dal on Tuesday decided to field Jayant Choudhary as its candidate from Mat constituency of Mathura. Son of RLD chief Ajit Singh, Jayant is at present the Mathura MP. The ambitious move is to bring Jayant into state politics and project him as an important candidate under the Congress-RLD combine.

2. RLD replaced Suresh Nagar as its candidate from Garh Mukhteshwar, to Ravindra Chawdhary.

3. RLD declared Raj Pal Baaliyan its candidate from from Budhana.

Dahiya bhai yeh thread islie chalaya ki taki sabhi ko patha laghe ki humari community kai kaun kaun sai leader politics mai aage baad rahe hai ,aur is bare mai discuss karna koi galat bhi nahi hai.

Jitne jyada apne log goverment mai hoge utna he apni community kai liye acha hoga.

It is not bad to understand the politics structure of any region.

ashish bhai

ashish bhai what u hv to say bout this perplexity????

ashish bro tell me one thing ,should we jats should vote for rld-cong candidate of other caste or an independent jat candidate(whose winning chance is very less)??????
my village comes under sikandrabad seat of bulandshahr district and over here there is no candidate of rld but pushpendra malik is standing as an independent(from a very smalll party) and congress has given ticket to jitendra yadav....so whom we jats should vote???? earlier we used to vote for s.p but now we are confused..sikandrabad seat earlier was dominated by gujjars but now many gujjars village hv gone into greater noida and jewar, now this seat is dominated by muslims and yadav caste......should we vote for bjp???? because we dont want to see muslim winning from chamaris party.....

from Fatehpur Sikri Ch Babu Lal got ticket from RLD. This seat was earlier with Congress. Ajit Singh did a hard bargaining and got this seat back in RLD. For your information Fatehpur sikri is called Chaproili of Agra Disst.

Babulal Gotra is Nehwar and on Mat seat Nehwar gotra have 22 villages. Now beacuse Jayat is fighting election from Mat, RLD decided to give ticket to Ch Babu Lal nehwar so that he can get votes of Nehwar Jats.

Earlier on the same seat Brijesh Chahar was given ticket from Congress.

It is a very difficult question to answer.Really this situation is not on your Sikndrabad esat but it also exist on other seats as well.
Everyone will be having different opinion towards this question. As far as your seat is concerned,I am not sure about Muslim voting on your seat.
Your seat should be dominated by jaats & yadav with a good voting of Thakur as well.Earlier Mahendra yadav was supposed to get the ticket from your seat from RLD.

According to your opinion who is going to win on your seat?As per my thinking you should vote for Puspendra Malik because most of the times i have seen that such candidates after winning in the election changes their parties.

You should also consider the honest & image of the candidate in the area.If a jat wins & he don't do anything for the development of the area that's also not good.

One more jat candidate from Garh seat-Karanvir sirohi from BJP.

ashish bro....thts whts i got from newspaper muslims hv 70000 vote, yadav 35000,jats 25000,thakurs 25000,gujjars 20000 thousand.. .....the chances of winning of pushpendra malik is very less but i too feel tht jats should vote for him......but i also dont want a muslim winning a seat as mulayam and mayawati both hv fillded muslim candidates.......................so i might also vote for coalation of rld-cong.....btwn why the hell should jat vote for congress ,are they gooona gv us reservation....mullo ko free mein reservation milgaya,,,,,,,,,cong is bad ,jats should vote for bjp.....

brahmins, banias, and rajputs alltogether make a good vote bank and also other educated brahmin kind of comunities like kayasth and kahatri.. also follow them..
and they do not have any big issues among each other as community...and genrally leaded by bhramins and rajputs..

to vote bhramin people dont find it as an issue.....while a gurjar or thakur wont like to vote a Jat leader....
