JAT Conversion

Answer is No. Race can not be converted because it is by birth while religion can be changed any time because it can be by your choice.

What they did to gehlot?

You did not read my answer correctly. Jat can be Sikh, Hindu or Muslim etc. A jat is a jat by birth in that particular race. Religion can be changed any time.

as some JATs converted into mullejat due to any reason, they should be motivated to revert back.

Can anyone get converted as a JAT hindu if he is a Rajput Hindu ? Is there any way to do so ?

Sure there is a way. During the era of Surajmal a lot of non Jats had converted to Jats. They are called 'dheh' Jats though, but have marital relations with original Jats.
If one is interested, then he should leave all his relations back with his present caste. Sell out house, leave village etc. He should buy some land and house in any Jat dominant village. Tell there he is Jat from some other state (i.e. Maharashtra, Gujarat or so). Prepare a good stroy. Adopt some Jat surname and let some time pass. Male's marriage may face obstacles, but female's not. Just once marry the daughter in Jats (there are lot of needfuls), then son can also be married in Jats. Many villages have some % of needful Jats. Converted ones can be mixed with them.
But one should be sure if he deserves to be a Jat? Any undeserving person should not be let convert to Jat.

Can you give any example?...I think there was never a conversion from other castes to hindu jats..though i am skeptical about sikh jats....I see few exmaple among sikh jats weher popele of other caste assimilated among sikh jats...for exampel atwal jatt....

As far a si know "dheh" jats are not converted from other caste. In west UP, sikh jatts are called dheeh jats and hindu as desi jats....

tehre is another term as "dahae jat"
"the original name of the Dacians was daoi…certain nomadic Scythians to the east of the Caspian Sea were also called daoi. The Latin authors called them Dahae"

Many years back I was in a Jat village in Bijnaur distt. There some people were talking that this village belongs to 'dheh' Jats. I asked them about this term. I was told they were non Jats who coverted to Jats. I don't think it was a humor/gossip. Yet, I am not putting my claim very strongly. But I will do say caste/religion is in one's mind, not in blood. Many Jats converted to Sikhism/Islam. Mostly of them have forgot their root and now they are just Sikhs/Muslims. They marry in other castes openly. They think themselves different than Hindu Jats. Mostly of them are no more Jats. West U.P. has negligible % of sikh Jatts and I dont think they are called 'dheh' Jats. Some people here on Jatland are the perfect example. They have their root in Punjab, but now have settled in West U.P. and they are not called dheh Jats. Do they? If yes, then would you like to be called a 'dheh' Jat?
Moreover, I know a Rajput who claims that the Rajputs of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh like regions are not original Rajputs. They were locals who converted to the Rajputs and Brahmins because Shankaracharya asked them to do so. Who were strong, fighter type they converted to Rajputs and other to Brahmins. That's why in these state these 2 castes make the most of %.
Furthermore, think deeply. Human beings came in this world first and castes/creeds came later. If those people could have converted, then in present too it is possible. The most important thing is converted one's coming generations should not know about their pre-conversion root, otherwise there will be problem. If I am told by someone that great grandfather of my great grandfather was a Brahmin or Rajput, then my mind will be in tension and I will not be able to take myself as original Jats, be it is a lie. But I think myself to be a original Jat, because I don't have any such information that great grandfather of my great grandfather was a non Jat. I am Jat, because I am told so since my childhood. I feel proud, because Jats have been performing like that. We are capable. We are influential. And to maintain this pride we go to any extent.

upender ji...let me put forth few points
--.you talked about jats who converted to sikhism/muslim..it was coversion from one religion to another...blood is same..a jat is still a jat only religion changed but how do one perceive this conversion..this is a different matter...if you think a hindu jat converted to sikh/muslim is no longer a jat..that is your point of view...but thing is most sikh /muslim jats still pratcise gotra and other cultural activities...still there are many things that are common among hindu, sikh and muslim jats

-- as sikh/muslim jatts think themselves different from hindu jats..hindu jats also think themselves different..so it is two-sided. Even among hindu jats there are so many differences due to region.so this discrimination solely depends how you take it.. I don't want discriminate jats based on religion... may be you have different viewpoint

-- third, sikh jatts are having their presence in west UP..hastinapur area in meerut, , muradabad, amroha, bijnour, barelly kashipur..is having significant presenc eof sikh jats..

-- even in muzaffarnagar..there are two three villages near Baghrao,, one of them is ameernagar..they are called "dheve" jats..there is another term also used "pachhade" jat..gotras are grewal sidhu and gill in those village..

http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Pachhada_Jats

-- I never heard this "caste conversion to jat" story in west UP

-- rajput, brahmin is a different story...rajput is a caste, jatt is a race...
-- you again got it wrong..jats who have thier roots in punjab are not called dheve or pachhade but the jats who practise sikhim are called dhece or pachhade...they may have theirr roots anywhere....

-- as far as my village and gotra is concerned..when our ancestors settled here..sikhsim was not anywhere.. after that our ancestors in punjab converted to sikhsim and we remined hindu/vedic jats here...vaidwan/baidwan is our gotra and we can origin from Toor/tur . there are many common gotras among hindu and sikh jats

Good analytical discussion !

the point here is different...we are deviating from the actual question posted here...can the experts above discuss more about the main question that is posted here

1. race cannot be converted, religious and cultural practices can be.
2. dheh are not any convert to jats from other cast, sikh jats who setteled in west up are called dheh in local language.
3.sikh jats and mule jats are as much jat as we r , you are none to decide whether they are jats or not any more.
4. sikh jats and mule jats do not marry to other cast and one's self goth openly or secretly.
5. rajput and bhramin is a class/cast not one race,, ruling class in tibbet call themseve rajput they have nothing to do with rajstane rajput.
mostly rajput blood lines belong to jat ethnic stock in rajstan while in up and bihar 50% of their clans are from yadav stock.

Answer depends upon clan and state of the person in question.

those clans of rajput and gurjar whose good population in jats is also found can be reffered as jat /gurjar /rajput shouldnt really matter. like tamarvansi jat , tamarvanshi rajput and tanwar gurjar all belong to same family.

as some JATs converted into mullejat due to any reason, they should be motivated to revert back.

PS: pl dont declare me a BJP or RSS man

This is the urgent need of time, not only mule Jat but all Jat races, whether Hindu, Christian, Muslim or Sikh should come closer and unite

As far Rajputs are concern, this caste got birth about 2375 years back, boys from all castes specially from the communities which were involved and were responsible for the safty of the society, were given to rulers for army and those survived later on became a seperate caste called rajput, also these pandits did a yeg at mount abu and did drama of creating rajput from fire, but any way they are not seperate than us
