Ankit Tomar From Bajeetpur in Bagpat district Uttar Pradesh became Martyr of militancy on 3.1.2017. Constable Ankit received bullet injuries in a police encounter at Kairana, Shamli and achieved martyrdom. He made supreme sacrifice at the altar of duty. Emotions ran high in village Wajidpur of Baghpat where the slain UP police constable Ankit Tomar was cremated on Thursday morning 4.1.2018. Tomar died battling fatal bullet injury in d head he received during an encounter on Tuesday night.

Col Virendra Singh Bhalotia (born:04.03.1954) is from Village Dhani Bhalothia, district Mahendragarh, Haryana. He is eldest son of freedom fighter Mahashay Dharampal Singh Bhalothia.

Colonel V S Bhalothia, SM, VSM, son of s freedom fighter late Shri Dharmpal Singh Bhalothia is a veteran who hung up his Olive Green uniform in the year 2009 after an eventful & glorious stint with the Indian Army for more than 30 years. While in army, he saw actions both in India & abroad & was the recipient of a number of gallantry awards for showing the courage in the face of the enemy.

Ajay Pal Lamba IPS, Rajasthan, 2009, who is presently posted with the Anti-Corruption Bureau. Earlier he served as Superintendent of Police in Jodhpur, Jhunjhunu. He is the brave officer who could dare to arrest godman Asharam in Sexual assault case. Self-styled godman Asaram was on Wednesday 25.4.2018 convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by Jodhpur court for raping a teenager at his ashram in 2013.

why we always say term "awarded" even with conviction? rather, it should be replaced with its opposite/antonym.....like, conceded with life imprisonment or withhold infront of law and order....."Awarded" word has very positive meaning related especially for achievement/s, victory, superannuation or similar expressions to address one with regard.

Yes! You are right. Even I forget to be so appropriate at times. Here, post was just to remind the value affect. Otherwise, I understood that Laxman sir has added 'awarded' word as disgraceful.
 
Shaheed Lt. Amit Beniwal

Lt. Amit Beniwal of Safipur village in Beri tahsil of Jhajjar district (Haryana) sacrificed his life on 17 November 2008, while saving the life of his soldiers (who were buried under an avalanche near LOC at Gurez Sector).

Today, on his 10th anniversary, his family has published a small poster in local newspapers. Let us pay homage to his martyrdom. Details are available on the following page of Jatland wiki -

Bhikha Ram Moondh (16.1.1977-15.5.1999) is a Martyr of Kargil War from Rajasthan. He belonged to village Patasar in Pachpadra tehsil of Barmer district in Rajasthan.

Sandeep Kaliraman, from village Atali, Ballabhgarh Tehsil, Faridabad district, Haryana, became martyr of militancy on 19.2.2019. He had participated in an Army operation in Pulwama. He had sustained wounds during an anti-terror operation on 12 February 2019 in Pulwama, and succumbed to his injuries at the ICU of the Army hospital in Srinagar. He is survived by his wife and three kids.

Bhika Ram Tada is Martyr of 1962 Indo China war from Khangta, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. His statue was installed at village Khangta on 27.2.2019.

1962 के भारत-चीन युद्ध में खांगटा के भीकाराम ताड़ा शहीद हुए थे। उनकी वीरांगना गट्टूदेवी ने हमेशा अपने सुहाग को अमर माना। 57 साल बाद बुधवार 27.2.2019 को वे अपने शहीद पति की मूर्ति को ही यह सुहाग प्रतीक समर्पित किया। गांव के चौराहे पर लगी इस शहीद की मूर्ति को नमन करने ग्रामीण उमड़ें। कार्यक्रम में आर्मी की ओर से गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर दिया गया.

Six Personnel of Indian Air force lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Budgam district of J&K on 27 February 2019 during a search operation against militants. One of them was Sergeant Vikrant Sahrawat of Bhadani village of Jhajjar district of Haryana.

He was cremated in the village today. At the time of cremation, Chief Minister of Haryana, and some of his Cabinet colleagues were also present.

Hari Bhakar from village Joosri near Makarana in Nagaur district of Rajasthan became martyr on 23.3.2019.

पाकिस्तान ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के पुंछ और नौशेरा में नियंत्रण रेखा (एलओसी) पर संघर्ष विराम का उल्लंघन किया. शनिवार दिनांक 23.3.2019 की रात में हुई भारी गोलाबारी में प्रदेश के नागौर जिले के जाबांज सपूत हरि भाकर शहीद हो गये. भाकर नागौर जिले की मकराना तहसील के जूसरी गांव के रहने वाले थे. शहीद भाकर की पार्थिव देह रविवार 24.3.2019 शाम को जयपुर लाई गई. सोमवार 25.3.2019 को भाकर के पैतृक गांव जूसरी में सैन्य सम्मान के साथ अंतिम संस्कार किया गया.
