IS foul, rud, insubordinate langguage, disrespectful addressing to anther jat, intolrence to views of another jat, jaelousy towards progressing jat, noncooperation, nonadjustment with jats, not accepting anther jat a superior/more capable/ elder/ more educated/ batter,(than /to) self, harming/insulting another jat and feeling proud in such act etc, A PAHCHAN OF A JAT ?

Dear All,
I had written this on this forum few years back. It is sad that some of the points are still true.
1. Typical JAT attitude of not accepting anyone better than themselves.
2. An air of INVINCIBILITY that is inherited, generation after generation. Apne te bada kise ne sochte e na. Same here.
3. RELUCTANCE to take up business and restricting to only 'Fauj', 'Police', 'Haryana Roadways', 'DTC', 'Bijli Daftar' etc.
4. A sense of SHAME in starting small ventures, shops etc. Why? Log ke kahenge, ke phalane ka potaa susra dukan kar rhya se.
5. Unwilling to accept or should I say tolerate the success even within own community. Hoga susra DC apne ghar mein!!
6. Failure to IMBIBE positives of others experiences; even in farming.
7. Not accepting anyone as a LEADER. Saare leader hain.
8. ABANDONMENT of villages by all those who shifted to towns. Of course they only return to take their share of sale proceeds and give lectures.
9. A basic hatred towards JATS by Brahmins, Banias & SCs.
10. INABILITY to become a single votebank. Har ek gaam mein kam se kam teen, char gut sein.
11. Not educating and trusting daughters. Ke kare gi padh ke, agle saal byah dein ge.
If someone feels agitated I can do nothing about it because truth often hurts.

Brother, very correctly putted it accross, Very recently your point no8 happened with me Due various resons and desire to give back to my village some thing from me, I decided to settle in my village, accordingly I started constructing a suitable house about two yaers back, brother the amount of negative advises, problems, I faced, even now they donot tolrate my plan to stay with them, so niether, our educated lot wants to go back to village nor village people want us there, Though, I have a small place to stay at Gurgaon and at vadodara but I am going ahead for village, I have transfered my Bar membership from Delhi to To Narnaul where plan to help kissan and jawans on legal matters, if God is willing.
आपकी बात से एक किस्सा याद आ गया जो मैंने कई साल पहले THE TRIBUNE में एक रोहतक के किसी कर्नल दिलीप सिंह की लिखी हुई दास्ताँ पढ़ी थी | कर्नल साहब ने अपनी नौकरी के दौरान काफी भर्ती करवाए थे उनकी गाँव गुहांड में काफी इज्जत थी | जब कर्नल साहब रिटायर हुए तो पूरा गाँव उनको रेलवे स्टेशन पर गाजे बाजे के साथ लेने आया | कर्नल साहब बड़े खुश हुए उनको बड़ा अच्छा लगा यो स्वागत देख के | गाँव में जहा से भी गुजरते नमस्ते साहब राम राम साहब की तुड़ी सी उड़ती | साल बाद सरपंची का इलेक्शन आ गया गाँव वालो ने कर्नल साहब को बैठा सरपंच बना दिया | कर्नल साहब के साथ दिक्कत शुरू हुई सरपंच बनने के एक साल बाद | कर्नल साहब बोले के एक साल तक तो लोग साहब साहब करते रहे उसके बाद साहब दिया हटा और दिलीप सिंह पर आ गए कोई काम हो सिधा नाम लेके बोलण लागे के दिलीप सिंह यो काम था वो काम था | कर्नल साहब ने वो भी मन मार के सहन कर लिया की कोई ने अपने आदमी स | धीरे धीरे गाँव वाले दिलीप सिंह भी कहना छोड़ गए और सिधा दिलीपे और फेर दिप्पा/दिप्पे पर आ गए | कर्नल साहब की बर्दास्त से बाहर हो गया और कर्नल साहब गाँव छोड़ कर रोहतक शहर में रहने लगे |
ख़ासकर फौजी अफसरों के साथ गाँव में ऐसी समस्याए आती हैं |
या जाट philoshphy समझना भी बहुत कठिन स किसे किसे के ही समझ में आवे स या |
जाट का तो भेढ़ा जिसा काम स इनमे रहना हैं तो भेढ़ बनकर रहना होगा |
Well said, Rand To Randapa Katle per yeh Randve Nah Katan den, so fauji officers can stay but the over educated village people without work donot allow them to stay peacefully, Raka see the logic, When I started construction, I wanted to have two set but my friend chaudharies didnot like and I was practically forced to go for bigger house, when constructed very big house now they say col is fool to spent such a huse amount to costruct such a big house, so they are not happy either side, even if you want to be away they will involve you and then let you down at every step, After death of my father, Iwas appointed numberdar of my village when I wanted to handover to some body they didnot allow, after some time , they started complaining that numberdar donot stay in village, he should be changed, they only kept quite when I also behaved like them and gave them proper reply, Any whatever, they are ours.

I completely agree to what Col. saheb has written. All these are true but disheartening facts. I strongly believe that Jats has every right and quality to be on the top in every sphere, we just need to open ourselves a bit. I am not saying that we should start folllowing other like punjabi's because we can't and we shouldn't do that, but what I am suggesting is adapt a bit flexible approach towards growth.

Though I can not relate with your experience, but I believ this happens in all the villages. Specially the relatives who are living there do not want you to live happilly. Their 24 hrs programme is to SC*** you happiness
Very true, They are not pained by their problems but they are very much pained/distrubed by the happiness/progress of their near and dear, And Brother it is not happening only in villages but towns also. regards
