Great news Sir... I hope JMM refrains itself from internal politics. I heard about Jat Mahasabha that there is internal leg pulling which affects the ultimate aim of this group...!!!

The group is already working for the last 3 years. Some of the objectives of Jat Mitr Mandal are:
1. To provide a platform for meeting of all Jats and their families living in this industrial town and bring a sense of unity.
2. To keep our Sanskritik Virasat alive. Holi Milan is organized every year; last year about 1600 families
attended the festivities followed by lunch. Only organic gulal and flowers were used. It was a good event.
3. People from poorer sections of our society shift to the city in search of livelihood.
Sometimes it so happens with such families that after the death of the earning member
either in accident or otherwise, there is no one to take care of the remaining members.
JMM identifies such families of the community and arranges marriage of such destitute girls
so that they are not left to face vagaries of the city life and fall into wrong hands.
4. A free health camp was organized with the help from leading hospitals like Fortis,
Sarvodya etc. Free X-Rays and even MRI’s were got done. This camp was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner.
All the members are quietly doing whatever is possible. Since they are doing good job I thought of sharing it with you all.

Dahiya Sir i want to ask you that how did you manage to make things work smoothly and what were the difficulties faced by you in carrying the activities. Did people try to demotivate you ? Did you face any critisizm? If yes, then how did you fight with that problem?
Sunita ji--- Reply to you questions will be lengthy however since you have raised very good questions
and genuine concern, I will try to briefly explain:
Earlier there were two Jat Organizations in Faridabad, Jat Samaj and Sir Chotu Ram Education Society.
As usual after initial bickering both almost became defunct and stopped their activities for about 15 years.
Once in a while meetings were held but attendance was poor. We also were busy in our Govt. Jobs.
After retirement of Mr. JPS Sangwan IAS and my voluntary retirement, some other like minded Jats
got together and requested Mr. Sangwan to become the president and revive both organizations.
He put a condition that both should be merged into Jat Samaj Regd. All agreed and we handpicked our team 4 years back.
Fortunately the team this time consists of well meaning, honest and dedicated people.
We paid the pending installments of land and planned to build a Jat Bhawan on it.
The work of construction was allotted by inviting tenders in leading newspapers.
With our transparent working people started lending help.
The membership fee was raised to Rs.11000/- and now it is Rs.21000/-.
Though it may seem elitist to some but this way such people who join such Organisation simply to demotivate/criticize, were weeded out.
No material was accepted and donations are accepted preferably by cheques.
We got income tax exemption under 80G. All payments for the building were made by
cheque after clearance by a team of engineers. All accounts are audited by professional CA.
With the result we could build a good building at Ballabgarh as can be seen at the following link.

With these above efforts and acts, the Jat Samaj Faridabad Regd. and
its executive committee gained credibility and more people pitched in.
There are so many persons who are ready to give monitory help to any cause
once they are convinced that the money given by them will be spent properly and used for a good cause.
Now Govt. has allotted a 3300 sq yd plot to us in Faridabad we plan to construct
a modern Kisan Bhawan on it consisting of banquet hall, conference room and about 20 rooms.
When you work honestly and with conviction you get an inner moral strength
which eliminates criticism.
If at all somebody raises a question we satisfy him by providing facts and proper reasoning.
When you start succeeding in your mission, you get happiness and satisfaction.
Now those who were initially skeptical and criticized have started praising.
In the end I would say have faith in self and be honest to yourself, success is bound to come.

Dahiya Sir....i've no words of gratitude for the pain you took in giving answers to my question to pacify my queries. I'm highly obliged. The concern was that people bicker too much despite our sincere efforts and while they themselves run after just NAME n FAME. Its very difficult to convince PEOPLE and especially those who contribute nothing but NEGATIVITY

Yes it is possible and the distance will further decrease in sense of time with coming up of new 4 lanes road between Faridabad & Gurgaon:rock
