The ability to evolve consensus on an issue is a very important ability of a community. May be...we lack it.
So, i am posting my thread again here, as it proposes a way forward towards building consesus on this issue of reservations.
The point is that none of us here is qualified enoug to give final judgments as to what is the best coures of action.
So, my suggestion is, we all align our ideas with the ideas of Jat Intelligencia working under Jat Mahasabha. Learned Jats and experienced leaders working through Jat Mahasabha are better equipped than any of us here to propose future course of action. And Jat Mahasabha has clearly stated its position, that is, Jats all over india should be included under OBC reservation and given reservation in Central Government Jobs. So, rather than each of us creating own opinion without full understanding of the issues, we should align our ideas with what our learned Jat elders in Jat Mahasabha have proposed.
Evolving consensus on the issues of importance.
This method of aligning our ideas with the ideas of learned and experienced Jats working under Jat Mahasabha should become our "mantra" of reaching at a consensus whenever there is a controversial issue. In every community, it is the learned who drive the community towards consensus. In our case, lots of retired beaurocrats, professors and others are working under the aegis of Jat Mahasabha. So, whenever there is an issue of importance, rather than giving our opinions instantly without complete understanding, we should listen to them...our learned elders working under Jat Mahasabha...and try to evolve a consensus.
I invite opinion from all on this.
