Jatland is generally limited to Hindu JATS ???????????

See yourself how Khatri mentally torture the Jatt Sikhs and then Jatt Sikhs try their best to escape, but they don't, because the fact is against them. I am in no way related with this post. I just happened to see this post. This post of Jattworld has made me sure that some problem is there.
A fistful of Khatris have been dominating the Jatts mentally for the centuries. What the heck...! Let all the Muslim and Sikh Jats come here on Jatland. They all should be motivated to come back to the greatest religion of the world (Hinduism), which they gave up some centuries back under some misunderstandings and misconceptions. Regards.

Brother, that is just an online discussion. Going by the posts looks like most members are young and live abroad as they do not understand the caste/varna dynamics and its impact on contemporary communities.

I repeat, Jatts arent unhappy or persecuted in anyway in Sikhism. Why would they be? They have the political, religious and social lead in Sikhism. All CMs of Punjab except a couple have been Jatt Sikhs. The Akali Dal controls SGPC, the highest religious body and both are full of Jatts. The greatest Sikh ruler was a Jatt. Almost all recent people of note in Sikhism have been Jatts. From Bhindrawala to Gen Brar, they were all Jatts. So its actually hilarious to imagine Jatts as persecuted. And only people living abroad who lack a sense of history and a connection with contemporary Sikh society would ever think like that.

Second, as I explained, it doesnt matter who founded a religion.

To understand dynamics of polity of Punjab on the lines of religious basis has already led to horrible results; now where we want to lead it by giving a new thrust to it by dissecting the caste lines of the people who profess Sikhism whether they are Amrinder Singh, P S Badal, Giani Zail Singh, Buta Singh, Saranas, Majithias and so on. No party can thrive on the slogan of representative of a single caste for long and the SAD or Congress or other political parties and their leaders are playing important roles in the Punjab because they have opened up their doors for the people belonging to proverbial 36 biradaries or castes. So no caste based discontentment is there either in Punjab or India as a whole.

It seems our forum meant for understanding the contribution of the Jat community is going astray from the basic tenets of our heritage and culture and many of our posts tend to be tilting towards narrow mindedness. We must remember that it is not caste but casteism is dangerous phenomena and it must be purged before it starts taking its tolls.

I am afraid you took my post some other way than what was intended.

My purpose in that post wasnt to show case Jatt superiority or widen the caste chasms. It was just a commentary on the prevalent scenario. I agree, playing on caste votebanks might lead to profit in politics but its a loss as a nation.

We must try to understand difference between political elite and the common people irrespective of their caste, creed or any other considerations. Could anybody bring out that a Chief Minister belonging to a certain caste bothers to give special attention to the amelioration of the same caste person having meager means of living neglecting others of the same category? The reply would be an emphatic, No.

Let us have another example about women empowerment and role of women. Has holding of key posts at the central government level by women like Mrs. Prathibha Patil, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi, Mrs. Meera Kumar, Mrs. Sushama Swaraj brought about any revolutionary change in the position of women living in the far flung areas of the rural Bharat!

Keeping this type of working of the political leadership, we must try to judge the individual people only on the basis of their worth as contributors to alleviation of the poorer among the poor and not solely on the basis of their caste or sex. The intellectuals must shun false sense of pride in this sort of divisive and sectarian ideology being siphoned off by the political elite and spread consciousness among the common masses to rise above these considerations in the interest of nation.

(Khatri mentally torture the Jatt Sikhs)...lllooollll........i am jatt sikh and there is no khatri mentality torturing jatt sikh ..........all our sikh gurus are khatris but it didn't mean that all khatris converted to sikhism.......majorities of people converted to sikhism was jats ...the reason is quite simple in think because sikhism suits jat mentality....sikhism was allways dominated by jats from 17th century onwards....going through genealogy records of my family i find out my ancestors converted to sikhism somewhere in mid of 17th century.....in reality majority of jatts sikhs are secular very few are hate mongers not more then 1-2 % ...
 
I think membership must be expanded for all jats irrespective of religion.
jats hindu and sikhs have same background,same way of life,same blood.

i feel great pain whenever i see things like Wisconsin Gurudwara shootout....becoz i know somebody by relative........my own blood brother or sister must have killed.
whenever any jat wins medals in sport in olympics or anywhere i feel very proud i think all sikh jats must have same feeling.

but at the same time my heart pains when i see jats just becoz of religious difference behave as enemies.some times i see comments on youtube ppl abusing each other they don`t know that they are abusing their own brothers.

i have many freinds who are pachadde jats they migrated from punjab before accepting khalsa,they speak punjabi,they visit gurudwaras and temples. they have all gotras an gill,sidhu,chahal,mann...........thay are in large numbers in western uttar pradesh,till some times back marriage was not common amoung deshwali jats and pacchadde jats.dehswali jats used to think them outsiders etc...and vice versa but know marriags are common.
so may be one day we could all be just jats nothing else and i see jatland could be one forum of this brotherhoodness.
some extremist element always try to mind wash ppl i think if we start reading history we could understand that both jats and jatts have more similarity between them rather than differences .

I guess majority agrees that JL should be open for all Jats irrespective of religion ----so do I .

So many have quoted Sikhs here -------what I know as per the books I have read long time ago .

Hinduism is always considered to be a peaceful religion -was never as part of any crusades . When Hindus could not protect themselves from inhuman behaviour of other religion - then one section decided to fight back to protect others - they were called Sikhs . So originally all sikhs are hindus ------its not conversion . It is the responsibility which few people took to protect rest of Hindus . Now they practice different culture n norms of living life .

I also remember----read somewhere during 1984 riots , even RSS passed some statement that We are same , sharing same origin ( do not remember exact words)

So be it Hindu Jat or Sikh Jat ---I do not see any difference , we were same n still are .
However regarding Muslim Jats-----no idea , its on JL first I have heard about Muslim Jats

In addition to posting note of welcome, the other purpose was to bring to the notice of all participants in the discussion towards the fact that Jatland portal is already open for membership to the Jat Sikhs since at least 2007 as the post by our friend shows:

"..i am jatt sikh and there is no khatri mentality torturing jatt sikh."

Then ponder over for what purpose we are posting post after post on the non-existent issue!!!

Problem actually is tht we as Jats have always shied away from business and it is the businessmen who do all this mischief against thmjats, they did with sir chotu ram and have continued with it.

ya bina kaam ki behas hai,jisne aana hoga vo fraud ID bana k b aa sake hai,koi uske ghar thodi jaga verification karne k liye.
jat gotra aur jat villages JatWIKI me hain,ude te ek gotra le k fraud ID bana lo........jisne JL pe aana hoga vo to kyukare b aavega humare mana kare te koi na mane......hum mana karenge to fraud ID bana k aavega per aan wala to avega...........

fer b je kise ne doubt hai to moderators ko mail dalo aur pucho......aade bina baat panne bhare te k fayada hai.

RajpalJi , ye hi asli Jaat sain. Sirf Jat dekha Bajwa sahab ne rather than Hindu Jat n he joined. All those people who believe in Hinduism must read a thread by Samar in one of the thread on Hindu.
