There are not many members left on this site with their pictures..Might be my face has become familar just through Jatland. I can not recollect if we ever met face to face in real life. I agree with you that Jatland has become somewhat dry lately. But again the credit or discredit goes to all of us. I am certainly one of those who would like to have a serious discussion on serious topic and lighter on lighter on lighter and non-serious issues..If one looks back on old serious Guru datt movies, they all had Johney walker in them.. Let my all friends know here that to send even very serious message across, one needs some light stuff side by side...like those sonali and Niti type posts....LOL..lekin kiya karen Baljit Bhai, ek ek karke sab saathi bichad gaye...never mind......may be with time, members develop some tolerence for lighter ideas...

Well, Rajendra ji, It won't be boring, if same person is coming with different names and making fun of others
and making your DAY! ..... As if he has nothing else to do...
Sonali kahin nahin gaya( yes word GAYA) ..He is right here in bay area and on jatland as well.( very very active) My mission is accomplished about the identity issue !! I was monitoring each and every action. But as he rightly said, he has to face me, I have to face him( Rehna hai bhi rehna hai.
Yes I agree with you, tolerance for lighter ideas, but not making fun of people on other' s expense! And secondly , craving for attention for no reason with cheap humor. This is a community site to help each other and share ideas and thoughts. And I for one in favor to support it and will be there to support it.
And Certainly I will add a note here: " Not necessary everyone has to like you". "Sau doston mein ek dushman bhi ho sakta, sau chahne walon mein ek nafrat karne wala bhi ho sakta hai. anyways... It is a universal truth and I do accept that.

A lively-entertaining site happens when a post leads to a follow-on
which leads to a follow on and so on. Basically something in the posts have to make
people want to speak their mind out.
This happens when either there are a lot of brilliant intellectuals who all
want to get their opinions out, who want to critique and be critiqued. Or it
happens when some people are very opinionated and directly/indirectly
provoke others. I guess basic human nature causes those who are provoked
to rebutt. And hence activity gets generated.
If everyone is all nice and politically correct and say things that everyone
just tends to agree with by default, then there is very little motivation to
respond...except for some "bilkul theek hai" posts.
I have seen many well crafted and intelligent posts that hardly get a response.
To respond intelligently with good arguments requires time and effort. It
requires "thinking". Obviously it doesn't happen often as you can see. Plus,
when the author doesn't see any good responses, he/she doesn't bother
spending the time again.
On the other hand, the "tunnae, munnae" posts are trivially done and fired off.
And they get plenty of responses. It seems if you annoy someone, they are
likely to respond. It just works !
If neither of these happen (first one because there just aren't too many
people who are interested in good thought provoking debates, second
one because the moderators will clamp down or the "holier than thou" start
make a big fuss over the "nuisance" posters) then all you end up
with is some mundane posts and perhaps some activity in the
humor section.
Thats the way it is.
Personally I think we all have to find within us to deal with both types
of people and posts. As long as posters are not obscene or threatening they
should be allowed to speak their minds and in a way that they want.
Like Rajendra said we need both types ! Unfortunately it doesn't work
by creating a "bakwas" section and a "non-bakwas" section. These are
going to exist together. The onus is with the individuals to what they
want to read and respond to.
That's is my understanding of a community portal. It is not a narrow
window where we merely want to provide job information and stuff
like that. It is a community portal and that means a whole range
of activity need to go on. And yes, that may very well include "gossip",
some "tu tu main main" and the like.
(And of course I know I'll get private emails telling me off for expressing
my point of view...from you know who ! )

Here is something interesting. The most responded to threads in three
important sections are:
Current Affairs: A thread on Mallika (280 +responses)
General: Bacchao, Bacchao Sonali ko Bacchao (200 + responses)
Jatland: New Entity (50+ responses)

Please let us know who she is and how you reached the conclusion. I think
if she is a fake then there is no harm in exposing her here.

wonderful person.

Here is some thing that should make it interesting.
THE BEAUTY OF ENGLISH
Ever noticed how deleting one word after the other in a sentence can
lead to a nice story? Here's an example:
Oh John please don't touch me at all...!

Oh John..!
Oh.....!
Well, if you want to make it more interesting then substitute John with "Dhaare" or "TAU"...

I urge Mr. Raj Rathee and Mr. Narender Malik to restrain themselves and not to spoil the decorum. If at all this cannot be avoided, a new thread titled "akhara" be started where they both can wrestle. I wonder why a true jat be afraid of disclosing his identity.
