feeling proud.

feeling much prouding.

But the issue of Reservation was disappointing.
Why do we be limited to reservation.

Reservation is the only blockage to JAT community.
remove it & u will see the change.
No community in the world ever proved to be successful by reservation.
This is a stigma to our community.

expecting replies from seniors & all.
bye

Reservation issue by Jats has already been discussed at length by senior members. Please close it. And try for Harit Pradesh in UP.

There should be some ground work from these organisation. There are meetings and functions but not much work has not been seen. They should work for the upliftment for the society and should not play in hands of the political parties. There are so many problems in rural areas like unemployment, illiteracy, water, health etc etc....but I hanent seen any concrete steps taken by these mahasabas....

All these organizatopns are based in cities and the members are mostly people fom urban areas and wh are doing well in their field. As it was discussed during this meet, the organization needs to sterngthen its presance in rural areas and more and more people from rural areas need to participate, only then the focus will shift to problems of rural people.

Your so called Harit Pradesh will be painted green, not the with green of prosperity but of Islam. None of the district, with the exception of Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), in the proposed state has a muslim population of less than 30 per cent.

Close to 51 per cent in Rampur, 42 percent in Saharanpur and Bijnour, 38 per cent in Muzaffarnagar and Aligarh, 35 percent in Meerut and over 30 per cent in Barailey.

If you want another Kashmir in vicinity of the national capital, go ahead.

jat mahasammelan

this is unfortunate that reservation was the sole issue in jat mahasabha. main issues to be discussed are increasing court cases, dowry, alcoholism among jat community, education in villages. these should find importance

Excess/abuse of anything is bad, alcohol is not bad. It is the alcochol abuse that is bad.

Dowry, reservation, education are social/community issues are worthy discussing at Jat Mahasabha level.

nobody say anthing in front of such an intellects otherwise cud get banned........
atlast gud 2 know tht harit pardesh is still alive...... atleast in d eye of d future potential politicians.....

Harit Pardesh?????

Is harit parsesh is solution of problem we are having in our rural areas....Watever be the pardesh...haryana,up,punjab...in all states villages have poor roads, electricity problem,no drinking water...in all poor infrastructure....n Villagers always cast their vote in Highest no...In cities voter turnout is much lesser than those of villages..But still politicians r taking villagers 4 granted...
peoples should not play in hands of politician...they should vote 4 development not 4 caste or religion etc etc.....

The real issues

Kabir bhai
You have hit the nail on the head. Politicians will just talk of emotive issues without doing anything.
Reservations may get us more jobs but not self pride and sanity, so much required nowadays.
Most problems of Jats are because of the breakdown of social system without a practical alternative. In villages and towns, everyone is for himself.
Can we do some thinking in this regard ?

No Matter What You Do!

We can keep discussing the various subjects here or for that matter on any other forum. Any pradesh whether Harit or any other name would not solve the problem unless we have some basic rules of the game which are applicable across the board.
The one and probably most important is the uniform civil code. We need to have same constitution for every one. It has to be acknowledged in public by the people who claim to be the leader of the public, and then practiced as well as ruthlessly implemented.
The second most important issue is the population control: Once the civil code is established, it would be that much easier. If we go for one child norm now, then probably in about two to three decades we would be able to control our population to the managable levels.
The third issue is of the corruption: We really need to have a reality check on this issue. What these leaders have to say about it. Probably that would hurt them the most.
Fourth issue is to improve the infrastructure. Be it for education, business, transportation, medical and health care or simply providing drinking water. We need to do some thing to the magnitude that it is visible to the "Aam Aadmi".
Management of national resources is another aspect that needs to be discussed and paid attention to. What these leaders have to say about that?
And finally we need to reform our political system itself. Judiciary may have to assume more responsibility to ensure implementation of the regulations and law. Executive has to be more responsive to the public problems as well accountable.

How and when can it be done is the issue.

How: We need to forget about our personal interests and have to work in national interests honestly.

When: Probably yesterday was the right day to start.

While I agree to what you said on the majority of the issue, I differ from you here, albeit slightly.

I don't think we have to really forgo personal interests in order to see out nation progress. We just have to ensure that our interests don't hamper or conflict with that of our nation's.

A slight fine-tuning in our public/professional life will make a huge difference collectively.

The other day, I was watching The Beautiful Mind for the nth time where Russell Crowe, who's playing Nobel laureate John Nash, modifies economist Adam Scott says: "The best result for a group comes when everyone in the group does what's best for him/her as well as for the group."

When: Probably yesterday was the right day to start.

It reminds me of an African proverb: The best time to plant a tree was 20 years back. The next best is now.
