Apart from 23 IITs-IIITs, 31 NITs and 35 CFTIs and state-funded colleges, there are many top private colleges are also there which accepts the JEE Mains scorecard for the admissions. Among the JEE Mains Scores accepting colleges, many private colleges such as Thapar University, BITS Mesra etc. are very popular among the students.
