Hello Jatland members,
Just came accross this news article. I have seen this person in colleges days. He was in student politics in those days, Pemaram. I was in school and he was in college near by the school, actually marched with him several times for college and school issues.
Now he is CPI (M) MLA from Dhod (Resvd) constituency in Sikar district. He defeated a senior congress leader who was hoping for CM post, Parsamram Moradiya. Earlier Amraram Jat was MLA from here on CPI M ticket.
Have a look here..

What do you think about this politician/MLA and the former MLA, Amraram, who was no different?
Amraram is a farmer, works there, owns an old jeep (I have seen him in this jeep for last 15 years), drives himself and walks with the farmers whenever they need or call him, very humble, downtoearth person. I met him personally several times and he doesn't look like a politician in any way. He is MLA now from Daanta-Ramgarh (Sikar) and he defeated one of the most senior Jat congress leader Narayansingh, former minister and state congress president, who was also in the que for the CM post. Amraram was MLA from Dhod for last 15 years.
Both these CPI M MLAs come from student politics, SFI, the student wing of CPI M gave them a platform. Both are from village area, both are farmers and they still work in their farms in free times. One is Jat and another is Hairjan.
