1...Customer Engineer(Field Engineer)
Responsibilities:
Perform the on-site installations, servicing and repair of complex semi-conductor manufacturing equipment. Ensures high level of system performance and customer satisfaction within assigned account(s) by demonstrating full technical proficiency and good communication skills. Applies techniques obtained through formal training, on the job training and self study to perform routine maintenance on specified products and to diagnose and correct failures on Applied Materials’ products. May function as a specialist on products to resolve complex system problems which may occasionally involve some process, software or hardware issues outside the assigned territory
Qualification:
· BE / ME - Mechanical / Electrical
Job Specific Knowledge & Exp :
· Have a very strong practical mechanical aptitude and be very "hands on".
· 1 - 5 years of Experience on automation equipment, automotive equipment or field service in a manufacturing/ production line is preferred.
· Be willing to travel and be away from India for extended trips
· Should have a valid passport
· Have good communication skills
· Experience in trouble shooting manufacturing equipment with failure modes
· Have good administrative skills to record the requested data, and track the repair data in a spreadsheet or database.
· With sufficient experience, be able to provide phone and Email support for repair and replacement of robots to others who are less experienced
2. Value Engineer
Responsibilities:
Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
Design or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision.
Generate related alpha/gamma documentation for product release.
Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components/equipment and identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.
Troubleshoot a variety of moderate mechanical problems.
Implement concepts for product issues and mechanical solutions of moderate difficulty.
Assist in development of mechanical product specifications.
Qualification - BE / ME - Mechanical
Job Specific Knowledge & Exp:
2 - 10 years related experience
Experience in DFP. DFM, DFA, FMEA
Ability to implement changes to drawings/models
UG 3D experience, Documentation experience in UG 2D
GD&T knowledge , 2D drawing/drafting standards
