today i read an article in newspaper regarding purchased brides in Haryana, the article states that brides mostly purchased from Assom and Bengal live degraded life and are denied basic rights of an human being. http://www.thehindu.com/news/states/other-states/bonded-brides/article4307384.ece

even i have seen this trend from my knowledge brides are purchased and exchanged many times till they are finally married, even after marriage they are denied decent status often they are objects and sexually exploited by many ,this practice is more prevalent among jats.
i would like to know why is this happening among jats ?

is this even a topic for discussions among our leaders and where does our honour goes when we indulge is such inhuman activities ?

are children from such marriages accepted by other jats for marriage?

another trend is KAREWA marriages if somebody please tell historic evolution of this practice and why it is mostly concentrated to jats?

In which regions ? I read an article about Haryanvi/Punjabi people buying brides. In our regions, people look down upon inter-caste marriage(even if bride is Brahmin).

in the region of haryana, distt sonepat, gohana,i have talked to my friends and they told me about this practice......they also claim this on their observation but there is no empirical data to prove it.

1. Ghat ti jameen, girti kamai ke saadhan kisano ke baalko ke. Padhe likhe se konya, nakara ho rahe hain, jameen bech bech ke khaa pi gaye, sarkari naukari laagni unn mushkil se haryana me, pribate rojgar karan layak nahi.... kunn aapni chhore ne bhaahve batta.... ghat ti sex ratio ko hi harbar jimmedar nahi thehraya ja sakta..wo to pehle se rahi hai.. par ye trend to abhi ek dashak se shuru hua hai.

2. Netao ka ke bigde se, ghar ke bade boodhle unn khod mari jaa se, akk byah na hotta, te aur lyava... koe kaam karan ali chahiye, budhhappe me haamne kun tikkad po ke dega, khet me kunn kaam karega..

3. Abb tak ye nai fasal byahan joggi hoyi na se, arr ye chinta ka vishay banegi aage jaakar, koe jaat aapne balkaa ne is mixture gel byahve na (ye balaak bhi ise kaale peele, bhundi shakal ke jaam ke de sein)....... fer ye aur jaga dhakaane pad jyange, dusari jaatiyo me... aur jaat jaati gaaon se dheere dheere vilupt ho jayegi agar ye sab sahi nahi hua to...

khaap ko 'beti bachao' ke sath sath, 'vansh bachao' ka bhi nara lagana chahiye..... unko biradari bahar karna chaiye.

durbhaagya ki baat hai, ki shahar ke balkooon ke pas ye suvidha hai bagawat ki, ki wo bangallan, biharan, chhore/i gel byah karle.......gaam to fer bhi simar jyaga, je bade boodhle laathi thaa le to.... in shehari pappuaan ne kyukkar rokka !!!
