Prem kaur gaam mai rahti rahi. Mehar singh ka koi aata pata nahi chal raha tha. Yudh key baadal mandra rahey thay.uska jikar chalta magar sab kuchh sunkar
chup rah jati.. uskee yaad mai kaya sochti hai bhala-------

Kharub sahab,
I had a different feeling specially about Sikh jats, I do not think you can find many jats who do discriminate against them.
Are you of this opinion because Sikh jats are not officially allowed on this site. That is not because of discrimination but it is a mature decision to avoid unnecesary day to day disputes...

As usual saheed kavi MeharSingh Birth Day was celebrated on 15 th Feb at village Barona. Gayak Pale Ram, Azad Singh Khanda Kheri, Sattey Farmana, Rakesh Kiloyeeya,Sanjeev Balambha, Suresh From Dighal, Narender Dangi and many more participated in the Ragni Competetion from 12 am to 7pm.
His sacrifice was remembered something like this-a Ragni....

Mohinder, Dr. Dahiya belongs to 'Barona' village - the village of Fauji Meher Singh. Dr. Dahiya himself is a good composer of Ragnis. I enjoy reading all of his posts, though not writing my comments on each and every one. Presenting Haryanavi stuff by him on this site is a commendable task.

Mehar Singh did not come to the Village for a long time. Second World war was on . Mrs mehar Singh was expecting that he will come on leave instead the said news comes. how she reacts to the occasion. Please go through.
