This guy has turned Jataland in to a garbage site for dumping propaganda of certain vested interests.

A simple search of such posts can reveal identity of such propagandist sites .

Is it not a Jatland policy to put your own original views in your posts and not to spam it with propaganda of vested interests available on so many other sites.

I want to see a senior efficient politician as defence minister to guide the ministry in facilitating / upgrading the defence establishments . For "sena nayak", we have Army Chief there....

What special contribution you find of the person in the field of Defence that you have over ran a galaxy of ablest Field Marshals and Army Chiefs of India since 1947. Therefore it is wrong on your part to assume that except one Army Chief [now Rtd] all others have been weaklings.

Yes, V K Singh as former Army General and now MP deserves due respect and his expertise could stand in good stead in many ways to the Government.

It would be good if you could kindly share his special contribution in the field of defence services but simultaneously do not belittle the contribution of others too.

Cabinet / Ministries are allocated on the basis of political standing of the leaders in the ruling parties and not on the basis of expertise on the subject as Secretaries are there to guide the Ministers/departments.

Many former Army Personnels feel that Gen. VK Singh should not get Ministry of Defence even MoS .
This man has politicised the Army for his personal interests and if he gets inducted into Ministry of Defence then Army won't be able to work properly .

As far as Ministers in NDA are concerned,it is immaterial that how many Jats are inducted but we hope that who-so-ever is inducted from Jat dominated states he should not adopt anti-Jat policies and work in unbiased manner .

Sometimes even a simple MP can do lots of development work in his/her constituency but a Cabinet Minister can't do that .
Greatest example is Kumari Shelja .
 
Found a link for number of Rajput MPs in 16th Lok Sabha . There strength from all over India is 43 and moreover they have 15 MPs from their community in Rajya Sabha too .
Total 58 Rajput MPs in Parliament House .

Now Rajputs are eyeing a large share in Ministerial berths because they consider themselves traditional supporters of BJP .

One thing is sure : the traditional supporters of BJP i.e. Baniya,Brahman and Rajput would be adequately represented in Modi Government . They would get important portfolios too .

In such situation Jats must also get some respectable posts in Modi's Government.

43 rajputs got elected in parliament . So with 23-24 MPs jats also have done fairly well. I guess rajput population in India should be more than double of Jat population.
 
24/543 = 4.4% approx
5/125 = 4% (Not sure of exact number, assuming 5 crore jats)

A fair representation in the parliament. Those who have exact data pls share and correct me.
 
Kindly guess, who among the BJP/NDA Jat MPs' has been with the Party for a considerable period of time with suitable administrative/ organisational experience and qualifies to be cabinet minister !
