People like you want a increase of 15-20% increase in their salary after every year but cry for 8-10% inflation. i don't care for inflation if it is benifitting to farmers and labourers somehow...

I am crying for myself. I traveled in train 15-16 year before brother. These price are only effecting daily duty worker. these prices added $5 extra cost/person each month.

It's mean 6 Billion/month.

But for Mobile/Tv. People had options. They didn't invest money for researching and R&D.
My main question is why govt. so soft with Industries and hard with common people. All taxes are charged from common person.
I thought that govt. Primary work will be quality education, health care, food right, economics security for everyone.

Just two months before same outfit was shouting from rooftops about inflation. Now me , you and he has to pay 2rs more for petrol and that farmer has to pay 50 paise more for diesel. Its fine that govt need time but why on the same lines of previous govt? Always a bitter pill in the name of improvement ? Rhetoric is not helpful always. Modi govt is not insulated from critique over price rise. Who are the jamakhors of onions in and around NCR and all over country ? Why Gadkari has a conflict of interest in e-rickshaw? Primary things.
1. Education system, Encourage overseas student.
2. Tourism- Kerala, Goa and Himchal Pardesh. These place need more attention with maintenance of road, transports, law and order. Overseas people would love to visit India if they feel it safe and secure.
3. Need to make cities and villages more live-able.
4. Health care.
5. Right for food.


I am sure govt. will have double tax in next one year. they wouldn't need to increase price for anything. When you will money for other projects start them.

Thanks for this post. Same I was saying. Daal ko continuously hilaane se wo zaldi nahi pakne wali' BJP doing samething. They don't need to be so fast And they don't need to make burden on common man. They can move easily step wise.

And you know why Sugar prices have increased? Because import taxes have been raised on sugar, it is Brazilian sugar that used to be cheap has increased so where is the benefit to farmers?

About the onions and tomatoes and other such things. This practice of charging high rates from consumers while still paying low to the farmers was very well prevalent from the time of Commonwealth games in Delhi (I am not sure how far it was there before that).

I specially remember tomatoes and onions, tomatoes were being sold for over Rs30/KG in the retail while the farmers in our village were selling it at Rs10/KG in the mandies. Interestingly, when I re-visited the below threads, I found there were just a few (others), on JL, who were concerned about this prise rise.

Point is so clear. Before UPA was stealing money from common man pocket. Now it's BJP turn. So BJP don't need to make excuse.

In theory yes, but in practice NO. Supply can be controlled to maintain the demand levels. Contrary is also equally true when demands are created to main the price and MSP of government is the best example. Rarely the markets are free. There always some or the other type of human intervention. Smart people eat seasonal produce and beat the inflation. Smart people follow the laws of nature. In my younger days we did not have the luxury of electricity. Studying in night was a big problem. We used to take full advantage of day light to complete our home work and revisions. We did not have the concept of free time. Our free time was evening after sun set when we used to play. So my solution to lots of these problems is to fall back on natural living. Lately I have stopped reading news papers and watching news channels. I watch only good debates on Youtube. I have become allergic to these Aranab Goswamis and Rajdeeps.. I follow only very selective opinion makers. None of the great writer wrote his epics in night. By careful planning, one can avoid almost 99% percent travel after sun set.
