Do you justification for all the acts of Hamas?

Hamas has been condemned a number of times, even this time they are being criticized so no point in reiterating that. They are a terrorist organisation. But, no body expects Israel to behave like a terrorist state. The 2000 civilians killed are not HAMAS.

Dear Ambi Sir,

Hmm...You condemned ISIS too, ...... but sickulars did not do that...

Gaza/Isreal and ISIS/Yazdis both matters are related to other countries people. But on first matter whole media and politicians are crying...being disucssed on prime time of news channels, parliament and lot of other places. The second matter hardly get a place anywhere...why?...

ISIS killed 500 people at the name of RELIGION............were they not human? Crusade/dharamyudha were a matter of past...Muslims are even today killing people at the of Islam?...don't know how much peaceful other eligions are but for sure Islam is most violent and full of hatred.........and I don't need any justification for that

Anyway..........if Gaza/Isreal gets a hue and cry in India everywhere.... why no a single word is uttered about this brutal killing? are these sikulars are not "bloody sickulars"? what is your justification for that?

Regards

If you can put things in separate basket then you would do a great job even for those people whom you sympathize.

First, war between Hamas and Israel in neither a religious one nor there is a racist tone to it. Even though social media is getting charged to this tone and tenor.

Second, communal histories of South Asian subcontinent are a reflection of not so simple religious intolerance, they make more for political gains and contest for space and resources.

Third, the commonality between the above two scenario is the desire to acquire more landspace so that power can be commanded. yes this is the only common element that leads to blurring of the edge between them. But, who else can know the consequence of desire for landgrab then us, whose ancestors witnessed Mahabarata.

So, let us not take sides of either of them that is my simple call. It is erroneous to do that and besides the human tragedy that has befallen on Palestine or Yazidis reflect the same. They are no different not even racially or culturally.

The unfortunate thing about this thread was the title [Learn from Israel] - there are better things to learn from Israel at least not this. Those who claim to know the Jews like the back of their hand. Let me tell you that Microsoft Windows is a gift of the Jews to computing world so is the USB pendrive. Their genetically engineered tomatos can grow in saltest of the water. Learn from them to rear not to annhilate.

The reason why conflict of HAMAS-Israel is getting attention, not only because of its long history and its origins but also because there is a great dilemma of Israeli state allowing itself to commiting war crimes. This situation is very difficult for the West as they killed Gaddafi for the same reasons. So, our dude media is following the western coverage. There is hardly any quality debate being generated.

best,

From Facebook, on UN war Crimes

NETANYAHU:-- "First, let them visit Damascus, Baghdad, Tripoli. Let them see the Islamic State, the Syrian army, let them see Hamas — that’s where they’ll find war crimes, not here."

............................ Terrorists have no religion.

If so, why Imam of Mecca and other important mosques don't say so ? Muslims pour in streets on even a faint call of " islam Khatre me" . If these terrorists are damaging the name of Islam and put Islam in danger, why we don't see Muslims raising their voice the same way as raise against Cartoons? Why only pseudo non Muslims liberals do the " waqaalat " for them ?

1st of this thread not good for discussion.

1. Discussion on war, Islam and Arabic countries. just waste of time. Those countries running because of Oil Industries. Otherwise dead countries.

Please learn from China. How they're using their man-power.
Please learn from Japan. How they're improving R&D.
Please learn life style from Australia and Norway.

Again same mistake. Israel is not fighting in any of the above places, so it cannot be absolved of its deeds in Gaza.

if you pin hopes on the narrowest of the narrowest segment of the society then nothing can be achieved. Which society does not have fanatics as lunatics. This is a figment of imagination that a call for danger gathers them. There are many reasons and any religious call is not a religious alone there is cocktail of religion and politics which is used by all the theo-politicians across the board. No religion is spared of that. Don't post ignorance to what is happenig in the Islamic world. They raise voice against not only hard-liners who try to constrict their social freedoms at the same time there have been religious movements emanating from Islam to challenge both the autarkic state and the elite. In fact, Islam has the distinction of leading masses against their rulers whenever there is lack of social equity against the monarchs. So, erasing people's history by anecdote of Cartoons is only an evasion of what is happening in the Mulim world. There is no need to have advocates, perhaps Islamic world is the most vocal about their rights and point against the abuses. It is the history that the Americans have been cohort with the elite of the Muslim world who suppressed demoracy and basic freedoms for long. And, as a reaction Arab spring happened. Although, it had it muddle of affairs, but that is not the point of discussion here.
best!

Besides! all the discussion that is being pro-Israel is nothing more than references of Jihadic call for Zionism Khatre Mein! That is how Israel is reacting to situation.

Your statement that the actions of Israeli state and Israeli citizens are progressing in different directions is highly inaccurate and misleading.

Israel came into being as a place which the Jews coud call their own after being persecuted and killed for long in various forms and regions, more particularly, the holocaust. It is not that Israel as a land was totally new or alien to the Jews. It was and is a land of their forefathers (long before the Christians and Muslims came into picture). Hence, it is totally wrong to suggest or portray them as outsiders, occupiers or usurpers of land.

Israel has always had a peaceful agenda since its inception. It has not initiated or gone to war without any valid reason and the reason is evidently not only the protection of life and property of its citizens, but also to protect the very existence of the nation of Israel. All this in the backdrop of avowed and well entrenched Arab ideology and actions under that ideology to kill/annihilate Jews and wipe out Israel from the map of earth. Israel has never crossed the line. It has always retaliated and retaliated with force which is the need of the hour. The civilian casualties though unfortunate are a result of Hamas using civilian places like schools, hospitals, heavily populated neighbourhoods, etc. There are no moderates in Palestine or the Arab world or if their are moderates, they are not brave enough to stand up. Though, I feel dismayed by the innocents being killed in Palestine, my solidarity is with Israel which under no circumstances can take the Arab rockets, tunnels and other terrorist acts lightly. For the Israelis, it is a question of their survival, not so for the Palestinians/Hamas. If the Palestinians want, they can reform their society and engage in peaceful and progressive activities which will make their society prosperous, progressive and advanced. But alas! That's wishful thinking for a fundamentalist society which does not want to see and think beyond one particular thing. Like Pakistanis, they are obsessed with their eternal aim/motto of destruction of Israel.

Hamas like any other fundamental/violent bunch of cowards is very similar to ISIS. Give them a free hand and I still bet they will do to Israelis what ISIS is doing to Yezidis. Unfortunately, a few misguided youth from India are fighting alongside ISIS. The same happened in Chechnya, Syria, etc. This is a very alarming trend and the Indian govt. should deal it with an iron hand, perhaps declaring these people persona non grata and barring their re-entry into India. Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah, etc. are all terrorist organisations and their political offshoots/branches are just facades/masks to cover their ugly faces and deeds which they want to spread across the world by creating an Islamic caliphate.

If what is happening in Northern Iraq is an imagination for you, I welcome you to Alice in Wonderland. The danger is staring you in your face and yet you want to see the rosy picture which actually does not exist.

Nothing more could be the ignorance about the history of a Zionist state. Israel as a state has been alienated from the Israeli citizens in the current conflict. It is preposterous to compare Hamas with ISIS, in fact what ISIS/ISIL has done is comparable to what Israeli state has done to Palestine. Read the picture, kindly do not paints imaginations.

RK ji very true.

We cannot forget the fact that the minorities have been persecuted since ages in the Arab countries. Their women abducted, men, children and the elderly killed. So what is happening to Yezidis and Christians in Northern Iraq is not surprising if seen in the backdrop of the fundamentalist and barbaric Arab societies where they stone, behead, decapitate their own people including women.

On the contrary, the minorities (Arabs) in Israel are prospering and progressing. Highly unfortunate that people still support the stone age Arabs who suffer because of their self-created miseries. They not only suffer themselves, they are exporting this suffering across the world in the name of religious extremism - be it the Middle-East, Europe, US, India, South East Asia, Australia, etc.

Iran is very different than other Muslim countries. There are many paradoxes. Public at large is very liberal, however, government is outwardly fanatic, thought not in reality. This is because of their Persian roots and not so much because of being Muslims. Till 1979 Iran was a very liberal nation where women could walk in western dress. I have taught to female Iranian students and found them much more liberal than even our Bombay girls. Iran had over 100,000 Jews till 1970s. However, their number has decreased now to around 30,000. Iran Jews have religious freedom, but not so much of political. Iranians Jews, though economically free. have many restrictions. They can not travel freely. Even today Iran has some Zoroastrians also ( whom well call Parsi in India). Ever heard of a Jew minister or higher official in Iran? Many Iranian Jews have migrated to USA and doing very well in business. Honestly I find many contradictions in Iranian policies. On the one hand they are anti Sunni, on the other hand they support Hamas. Any way, thread is about Israel and not Jews in general.

cheers
