Vijay u r right brother but...

In this story we can consider different situations.

This story is like modern art, one can see it in the way one wants to see.

Its gives a room to think anything.

Maybe you are right Gagan Bro but i have different views.

I can't digest the idea that a man who is so much in love with the girl who is inside the park and he is thinking the about the life outside that city park.

And my personal views my friend, if someone love someone so deeply from heart than what is the world and where it is. You should have courage to face every situation. That's like really a man otherwise the writer had explained in her post what you are.

So be a man and prove it.

Yeah Gagan Bro,

we can consider differtent situation. I agree.

And i agree with your modern art concept, but modern art can't change our point of view, our idealogy and personal thinking.

But you are free to think what you think and me too but basic thing is that what is generalized thinking.

That really maters !!!!

Good one

And the rest is history. We met, and met again, till it became a way of life. It was my first real serious relationship. I was ecstatic. Now all those Hindi love songs suddenly started to make sense. I found myself humming at odd times and the world actually looked perfect! No wonder, I was in love. Even better, she was in love with me!

Now, after almost two years of eternal bliss, my relationship is on rocks. you see, she wants to get married.

I have always feared the M word. Perhaps it has something to do with the deep rooted fear of commitment. My past brushes with relationships didn’t give me much insight into it. My first gf back in school had left me because I had forgotten her Birthday. The second left me for her Boss, who was a charming women in her 30ies. Although I still think she was more ambitious than gay, but oh well. My third gf left me for a German Hippie we had met on our trip to Goa. She had the real spunk, that woman. I mourned the loss of my sex life more than anything else after she left. The brief flings that followed are all a blur.

I love her. No doubt in that. But I don’t see any point in tying the knot when we are perfectly happy living-in together. Ever since she’s started talking marriage, things have been pretty rough. And here I am in this park where my life had changed, wondering what went wrong..

….To be continued.

Who is a metrosexual male? Is he the guy who wants to keep dogs and can't afford or the guy who doesn't get laid enough because of the guilt of committing to a girl for life?

This dude is a loser. He has only had disastrous relationships and that is what he deserves.

If that is what your story is telling us then you are bang on.

On a serious note, I think this is a very good piece of writing. Has a lot of potetial to delve deeper into the male psyche, relationship dynamics... whatever.

Lets finish it.

...Good question that one! Every magazine, every expert describes this new term in a different way but pretty much in the same vein: A guy who is got lost in the corridor of the gay world! Like for example Dude's getting waxing done on chest and legs etc. and facial, manicure/pedicure in parlours!!!
I mean don't get me wrong, I am all for personal hygeine....but that is like getting paranoid about peer pressure and looking good (yeah, maybe like a woman's best friend!!!;) :D )

Anyways, seems like it has seeped into the Indian male pysche too and there are establishments in India now offering such services for guys, (unlike the traditional catering of such vices for women).... sorry but just too gay!
I think the important question really is what do women think about a 'Metrosexual' guy?

Either way, not to degress from the main post; let's have the rest of the story, Udita....or any changes that you have been planning. You got our attention fair and square it seems! ;)

Hi Sumeet!

You know, I have no clue who a metrosexual male is! I have some rough ideas but well, nothing concrete. And I dont know where the story is going or what is being told in it. I wrote it in a light mood just coz i felt like it. It is not an honest peice of writing but I enjoyed penning it down. Baby steps on the road to writing, if you may!

But hey, thanks for the encouragement. I was actually starting to wonder how come you havent commented on it yet :)

tc.

Oh well, Shailendra, I see quite a dialogue going on here b/w Gagan, Vijay and Raj. I only triggered it :P

Will try and give it an appropriate ending, and like Mr. Vijay says, a practical one too!
