Looking for elderly couples in Bay area

Self & my wife keep visiting San Francisco Bay area every year during summer months (April to October); hence looking for social contacts, preferably with elderly couples.

Shall be grateful if the younger lot based here can help in sending the contact details of their visiting/settled parents/relations if they happen to be in the vicinity of San Jose and San Mateo.

You are right. I knew it but still thought of trying. Last year my effort for Vancouver, too, had similarly failed. I am happy that at least this time some one from UK broke the record to ensure that the thread was not locked only after one post. Though I am quite independent in my movements here, it is but natural to miss the like minded elderly company.

Notwithstanding, it has really been heartening to hear from you. I happen to know you thru JL and admire your writings (no flattery!). Let us hope we get an opportunity to meet sometime; it may be possible when we are at Gurgaon. We invite you to grace our home in Sector 17.

Kade aap munnae tae nahin 3rd gen aala bol rahe ho! :confused:
Yadhee haan, toh yeh bilkul sacch nahi hai.
I may not be as fresh off the boat and green as many, but I do
fall under the 1st gen category.

I don't think you'll find too many 2nd and 3rd gens hanging out
on sites like Jatland. :D If they are on Jatland, and better still,
if they have survived beyond a few months, then rest assured they
are as unadulterated as a desi can be... :cool:

Thank you for invitation. I will be in India during New year.
I hope to see you in Gurgaon.
I was in India- Gurgaon in Jan-feb-March - April.
Now I am in USA- Lexington Kentucky a small state near Chicago.
You are welcome to visit us and perform Havan on our Farm house
on 15 August as we do small Jat get-together every year.
I know it is long way.

Balki ulta, parents ne humko duniya daari mein dhakel kar retirement
le li hai...err eeb khub mauj kar rahein hein. :D ...

Maa baboo theek sein...pure thaath kutan laag re saen.
Time-time pe humko peese bhe bhej dein saen...taaki
mahara kharcha paani chaalta reh... :D:D

Mein unn dhore waapis jaan ka naam lu tae nu kahe dein saen...bas manndya
reh...ghanae chakran mein mat bade...ha ha ha ha...:D:cool:

You will be glad to learn that my effort hasnt gone waste. It has been a pleasure to hear from Shri Ram Kumar Punia on my email; he happens to be staying in Foster City, where I can look him up soon once I move to San Mateo by weekend.
