Thanks for sharing this amazing information with us. This is really wonderful; I could even find my Village in the map.

Thanks again.

eaaly great collection of maps. i was able to loacate even the remote villages. Nice to see them. Kudos to your search of link & sharing with all of us.

brilliant job,
I was really impressed to see these maps but the fact that my village of Katwaria Sarai was ignored does bother me ......well that could be due to any reason still the maps are very useful and I could trace many of the villages I am assosiated with.
Thank you for such a nice Job

Great maps, I wonder if any Indian University maintains such maps for India.

But if you look at the maps of Kasmir (Poltican India). It shows POK in pakistan and no international border there. Line of Control is clearly highlighted, on the other hand Line of Actual Control is shown, in addition to Indian claimed international border with China with disputed terretory shaded (with China).

I guess that is US stand on all of this. India is much cool about LOAC than LOC whereas from this map it seems LOAC is more temperary than LOC.

Ironic and manupulative US.

Just a curiosity, Does anybody know who or could find out who produces and maintain these maps for Universities and Does US govenrment have control over it i.e what is being documented and tought in US universities about international maps.

It is a very good collection of maps. As regards to the boundaries of India it is surprising. The lapses shold be brought to the notice of authorities responsible for it.
