I also like the background music of the movie "The Good The Bad & The Ugli", based on that tune there was a Hindi song made and the same tune is played in that song sung by great Mukesh, the song goes:-

Taaron mein sajak ke apne suraj se dekho dharti chali milne.

When I saw the English movie it was so nice to listen to that melodious tune to my surprise.

one rare gem of a melancholic rock no by Great Eddie Veddor, Pearl Jam is indeed a cult of a band when it comes to meditative n melancholic Rock, they r something else ! :)

Pearl Jam - Sad

All the photographs are peeling
and colors turn to gray, he stayed
in his room with memories for days, he faced
an undertow of future's laid to waste, embraced
by the loss of one he could not replace

and there's no reason that she'd passed
and there is no god with a plan, it's sad
and his loneliness is proof, it's sad
he could only love you, it's sad

the door swings through a passing fable
a fate we may delay, we say
holding on, live within our embrace
he lit a match, he laid in bed
hoping their dreams will bring her back, it's sad
and his loneliness is cruel, it's sad
he could only love you, it's sad

holding his last breath, believing
he'll make his way
if she's not forgotten
he's haunted
he's searching for escape

if just one wish could bring her back, it's sent
and his loneliness is proof, it's sad
he will always love you, he said ..

A wonderful melody by Jimmi Hendrics....BOLD AS LOVE!

He smiles telling him to shine him a metallic Purple armor.
Green jealousy, envy waits behind him, her fiery Green gown
snares at the grassy ground.

Blue are the life giving waters, taken for granted,
they quietly understand.

A once happy Turquois army lay opposite and ready
but wonder why the fight is on.

But they're are all bold as love
they're all bold as love
Yeah, they're all bold as love
Just ask the axis

My Red is so competent, that he flashes tokens of war
and ribbons of euphoria or just young and full of daring
but very unsteady for the first go around.

My Yellow in this case is not so mellow in fact I'm trying to save
this fighter like me, and all these emotions of mine
keep toling me from giving my life to a Rainbow like you,

But I'm A...yeah
I'm Bold as Love, yeah, yeah
Well I'm Bold, Bold as Love
Hear me talking
I'm Bold as love,
Just ask the axis, he knows everything.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

This song from 2PAC is very close to my mind,,,,,

A hit by 2PAC:-

"Only God Can Judge Me"
Only God can judge me, is that right?
Only God can judge me now
Only God baby, nobody else, nobody else
All you other get out my business
Perhaps I was blind to the facts, stabbed in the back
I couldn't trust my own homies just a bunch a dirty rats
Will I, succeed, paranoid from the weed
And hocus pocus try to focus but I can't see
And in my mind I'ma blind man doin time
Look to my future cause my past, is all behind me
Is it a crime, to fight, for what is mine?
Everybody's dyin tell me what's the use of tryin
I've been Trapped since birth, cautious, cause I'm cursed
And fantasies of my family, in a hearse
And they say it's the white man I should fear
But, it's my own kind doin all the killin here
I can't lie, ain't no love for the other side
Jealousy inside, make em wish I died
Oh my Lord, tell me what I'm livin for
Everybody's droppin got me knockin on heaven's door
And all my memories, of seein brothers bleed
And everybody grieves, but still nobody sees
Recollect your thoughts don't get caught up in the mix
Cause the media is full of dirty tricks
Only God can judge me

Only God can judge me ! Thats a good thought !!!

Well here is another good thought..i mean song. This one by Graham Nash...

Teach your children well

You who are on the road
Must have a code
That you can live by.
And so become, yourself
Because the past
Is just a goodbye

Teach your children well
Their father's hell
Did slowly go bye
And feed them on your dreams
The one they pick's
The one you will know by.
Dont you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would die
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you

And you(can you hear and)
Of tender years(do you care and)
Cant know the fears(can you see we)
That your elders grew by(must be free to)
And so please help(teach your children)
Them with your youth(you believe and)
They seek the truth(make a world that)
Before they can die(we can live in)

Teach your parents well
Their children's hell
Will slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they pick's
The one you'll know by

Dont you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you.

One of the finest creations by U2, the very ballad is full of emotions and penetrates deep inside the soul; unique U2's rhythmic soft rock backed by deep lyrics and haunting vocals of Bono and a beautiful vdo,... surely its a fine piece of art ! :)

U2 - With or without you

See the stone set in your eyes
See the thorn twist in your side
I wait for you

Sleight of hand and twist of fate
On a bed of nails she makes me wait
And I wait without you

With or without you
With or without you

Through the storm we reach the shore
You give it all but I want more
And I'm waiting for you

With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you

And you give yourself away
And you give yourself away
And you give
And you give
And you give yourself away

My hands are tied
My body bruised, she's got me with
Nothing to win and
Nothing left to lose

And you give yourself away
And you give yourself away
And you give
And you give
And you give yourself away

With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you

With or without you
With or without you
I can't live
With or without you
With or without you

Carrying on from the previous page:).....this is a beautiful song by Bob Marley, I love this song too much:),,,,,Bob Marley has been very good in depiction

No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry

Said said
Said I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
Oba, ob-serving the hypocrites
As they would
mingle with the good people we meet
Good friends we have had,
Oh, good friends we've lost
along the way
In this great future you can't forget your past
So dry your tears, I say

No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
Ee little darling, don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry

Said, said,
Said I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
And then Georgie would make the fire light
As it was log wood burnin' through the night
Then we would cook corn meal porridge
Of which I'll share with you

My feet is my only carriage
So I've got to push on through
But while I'm gone, I mean...

Everything's gonna be alright
Ev'rything's gonna be alright
Ev'rything's gonna be alright
Ev'rything's gonna be alright
Ev'rything's gonna be alright
Ev'rything's gonna be alright
Ev'rything's gonna be alright
Ev'rything's gonna be alright

So woman, no cry
No, no, woman,
No, woman, no cry
Oh, my little sister, don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry

I remember when we used to sit
In a government yard in Trenchtown
And then Georgie would make the fire light
As it was log wood burnin' through the night
Then we would cook corn meal porridge
Of which I'll share with you

My feet is my only carriage
So I've got to push on through
But while I'm gone...

No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
Woman, little darling, say, don't shed no tears
No, woman, no cry
Yeah

Little darling don’t shed no tears
No, woman, no cry
Little sister, don’t shed no tears,
No, woman, no cry

Waah kya baat hai Ballu...aap to chha gaye;) this is my take- The coolest song by Richard Marx.........HAZARD:)

My mother came to Hazard when I was just seven
Even then the folks in town said with prejudiced eyes
That boy's not right ...
Three years ago when I came to know Mary
First time that someone looked beyond the rumours and the lies
And saw the man inside ...
We used to walk down by the river
She loved to watch the sun go down
We used to walk along the river
And dream our way out of this town ...
No one understood what I felt for Mary
No one cared until the night she went out walking alone
And never came home ...
Man with a badge came knocking next morning
Here was I surrounded by a thousand fingers suddenly
Pointed right at me ...
I swear I left her by the river
I swear I left her safe and sound
I need to make it to the river
And leave this old Nebraska town
I think about my life gone by
And how it's done me wrong
There's no escape for me this time
All of my rescues are gone, long gone
I swear I left her by the river
I swear I left her safe and sound
I need to make it to the river
And leave this old Nebraska town ...

No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry
No, woman, no cry

Said said
Said I remember when we used to sit
In the government yard in Trenchtown
Oba, ob-serving the hypocrites
As they would
mingle with the good people we meet
Good friends we have had,
Oh, good friends we've lost

We dont need no thought control by Pink Floyd:-

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teacher, leave those kids alone
Hey, Teacher, leave those kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers, leave those kids alone
Hey, Teacher, leave those kids alone!
All in all you're just another brick in the wall
All in all you're just another brick in the wall

Another very beautiful song...
Its Terry Jack's version of the song...

Seasons in the sun

Goodbye to you, my trusted friend.
We've known each other since we're nine or ten.
Together we climbed hills or trees.
Learned of love and ABC's,
skinned our hearts and skinned our knees.
Goodbye my friend, it's hard to die,
when all the birds are singing in the sky,
Now that the spring is in the air.
Pretty girls are everywhere.
When you see them I'll be there.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the hills that we climbed
were just seasons out of time.
Goodbye, Papa, please pray for me,
I was the black sheep of the family.
You tried to teach me right from wrong.
Too much wine and too much song,
wonder how I get along.
Goodbye, Papa, it's hard to die
when all the birds are singing in the sky,
Now that the spring is in the air.
Little children everywhere.
When you see them I'll be there.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the wine and the song,
like the seasons, all have gone.
Goodbye, Michelle, my little one.
You gave me love and helped me find the sun.
And every time that I was down
you would always come around
and get my feet back on the ground.
Goodbye, Michelle, it's hard to die
when all the bird are singing in the sky,
Now that the spring is in the air.
With the flowers ev'rywhere.
I wish that we could both be there.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun.
But the stars we could reach
were just starfishes on the beach

One of the BEST BAND...DIRE STRAIT........always on my mind
This song reminds me of being in the hostel all alone. we would play this album before we would go out into the village and party. What a great way to start the night with dire straits on your mind.

Here I am again in this mean old town
And youre so far away from me
And where are you when the sun goes down
Youre so far away from me

So far away from me
So far I just cant see
So far away from me
Youre so far away from me

Im tired of being in love and being all alone
When youre so far away from me
Im tired of making out on the telephone
And youre so far away from me

So far away from me
So far I just cant see
So far away from me
Youre so far away from me

I get so tired when I have to explain
When youre so far away from me
See you been in the sun and Ive been in the rain
And youre so far away from me

So far away from me
So far I just cant see
So far away from me
Youre so far away from me

Destination Anywhere:-

Hey babe, it's me parked outside your house
I know that he's asleep, so listen to me now
Darlin', I'm tired of living just in your dreams
I'm getting out
You know we both sold our souls
We're just growing old in this sleepy, dead-end town
Destination anywhere - Name the place, I'll be there
Pack a bag and we're out of here - let's run
Baby, we both been running uphill for too long
We both settled for something, got nothing
And we both know that it's wrong
Go on admit it if we lived it
I'm leaving, get your boots and come on
I've got my coat and my keys
I need you next to me then I'm gone, come on
Destination anywhere - Name the place and I'll be there
Pack a bag and we're out of here - let's run
Destination anywhere - Left or right, I don't care
Baby we'll just disappear like the sun, ooh...
When these wheels spin, baby they can all eat our dust
As far as I'm concerned, this whole town lost its nuts
We won't be here when they put us down
It's our big chance, I'm calling you now
They'll never let us go unless we try
I'm tired of living just to die
We're getting out of here, destination anywhere
Destination anywhere - Name the place and I'll be there
Pack a bag and we're out of here - let's run
Destination anywhere - Left or right, I don't care
Maybe we'll just disappear chase the sun
Come on, come on, come on

Gaane ka naam hai Buffalo Soldiers, aur isko gaaya hai aapke apne Bhai Bob Marley ne.

Bob Marley was famous for raising social issues and the song Buffalo Soldiers is result of that effort.

Baat us samay ki hai jab USA was being consolidated and to displace the Native Americans, the blacks from Africa were deported to USA and most of them were slaves. Because of their looks as thick jute like hairs, thicks lips, dark skin and braod and wide nose they were named as Buffalo Soldiers by the natives. These Black African slave soldiers were part of a separate regiments raised for them. It was a racial discrimination to put them in a segregated Regiment.

aur dekhiye Bhai Bob Marley kyaa kalpana karta hai apni is kavita mein,,,,,aur kyaa batata hai:-

Buffalo soldier, dreadlock rasta:
There was a buffalo soldier in the heart of america,
Stolen from africa, brought to america,
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival.

I mean it, when I analyze the stench -
To me it makes a lot of sense:
How the dreadlock rasta was the buffalo soldier,
And he was taken from africa, brought to america,
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival.

Said he was a buffalo soldier, dreadlock rasta -
Buffalo soldier in the heart of america.

If you know your history,
Then you would know where you coming from,
Then you wouldnt have to ask me,
Who the eck do I think I am.

Im just a buffalo soldier in the heart of america,
Stolen from africa, brought to america,
Said he was fighting on arrival, fighting for survival;
Said he was a buffalo soldier win the war for america.

Dreadie, woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy,
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy,
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Buffalo soldier troddin through the land, wo-ho-ooh!
Said he wanna ran, then you wanna hand,
Troddin through the land, yea-hea, yea-ea.

Said he was a buffalo soldier win the war for america;
Buffalo soldier, dreadlock rasta,
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival;
Driven from the mainland to the heart of the caribbean.

Singing, woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy,
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy,
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!

Troddin through san juan in the arms of america;
Troddin through jamaica, a buffalo soldier# -
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival:
Buffalo soldier, dreadlock rasta.

Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy,
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy,
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy
