Miss India Universe 2009 is Jat?

Hey Guys i m not very sure but Our new Miss India universe 2009 she is a Jat i think and her name is Ekta Choudhry from Delhi. Can anyone please confirm whether she is a jat or not?

Same way.......Mehta punjaabi bhi hoya karein er Jat bhi........ :)

Er same way Verma .... Sunar bhi...er Dilli mein Jats bhi....
 
Bhai Kutchh ek jaat hai jo apna gotra badal lete hai...........
i have one such example...........
the person is very senior post in current Hooda Gov.........
his gotra is GOYAT (same as mine).........
but he uses chopra instead of GOYAT.............
there are many such cases as mentioned above by Bhai Jit & Anil........

Confirmation!!

All speculation can be put to rest as she is Jat girl. Read new thread started by me in 'current affairs' for more details.
 
Humm, .. Bhaisaab nu to aade Rajasthan mein Gehlaut aur Kataria maali hua kare hai, even CM of Rajasthan is also Maali !

I never knew Gehalut are found in Jats as well till I read it in Jat history n met few of them here on Jatland.

Aur lyo, kade aapne 'Mathur' 'Kothari' aur 'Singhal' gotra suni hai Jats mein? generally these are found in Kayasta but would you believe they are in Jats as well !!

ya you right bhupi. Mere mama ji bhi goyat hain but wo bhi chopra hi use karte hain kayi bar

sahi bat dangi saab. Where is the identity. Ibb deoban gaam mein chudde bi malik banne fire hain. Arr dhundhrehari mein gill bane fire hain. Ibb farak kadde reh gya? Yu to sara soudda 1 jissa ho gya

Yeh Gahlaut nahin hai balki Gahlawat Jat hote hain, jaise Guhna Farmana (Sonepat). Singhal bhi Kayastha nahin balki Baniya hote hain, Sonepat mein
