Hi all
These days our own Mollywood is very much in burning news.
Mollywood is nothing but its a (Nothern UP) Meerut film industry churning out pictures in very native language (khadi boli) while shooting the entire film in and around district Meerut mainly in the farmlands and open landscapes.
Some native Heroes and Heroines, villains have been given their fantasy break by the unsuccessfull Bollywood directors for merely a debut in the Mollywood films. I dont think they are even paid till they become the Amitabh Bacchan or Aishwarya of Mollywood in upcoming future.
A full movie is said to be completed within 1 month and under a budget of 1-2 lakhs of rupees. A recenly huge hit film named Dhakad Chora has further boiled the Mollywood where its cost was 2 lakhs of rupees and it was able to net a profit of over 2 crores.
So long live Mollywood and long live the local dialect called khadi boli.
Atleast with the help of this industry the traditional language seems to have some more years added into its existance.
