my name is khan nd i m not a terrorist !

in the movie, another khan stabs him... it goes like... my name is khan nd i am a terrorist.

so what to do ?... back to square one. the whole message (??? if at all there was any) is lost.

the entire movie was a useless crap (2/5). a failed attempt to make bollywood's 'forest gump'... srk trying to act like dustin hoffman of/in 'rainman'. it seems they both churned out a typical bollywood masala venture that is named as 'my name is khan'. the only solace that i found in the movie was kajol.

nd oh... wilhelmina, georgia is shown as even worse place than bihar in india... nd btw way the word mohammed is more pronounced than khan throughout the world. imo it should have been named 'my name is mohammed'.
 
my name is khan happened to us in reality....few days after watching the movie.my 13 yr old son encountered the same situation and being called terrorist and bullied.principal of the school also did not give him the chance to tell his side of story.we fought for our son and made sure that he wont get any wrong message or fear for future.....i will say at least for me this movie has given message

For me it was like 7/10. OK movie, not a complete movie, nor a complete documentary , somewhere in the middle! There are many war movies way better than this one, No Man's land, for instance, ws also focussed on 2-3 people and what a movie it was!! And also, it was one sided viewpoint on US-Iraq war..biased I would say, only reflects US soldiers' viewpoint! The same problem as was in "Not without my daughter", very biased movie again..against Iran!
Definitely, did not deserve Oscar, in my opinion (Probably woman director was factored in...LOL...I mean it..)

Watched Hurtlocker yesterday. Its one awesome movie based on a bomb defusing squad who's operating in Iraq after war. It's quite different from usual war movies and it's deep touching and intense movie. A class apart, wonderfully directed ! I give it 4.5/5 !

MNK...sucked big time...as indicated by other members! They cant even make use use of the beautiful San Francisco , used as the backdrop city, let alone acting etc!! Pathetic!

it was a 10/10 for me.Amir Khan is a superstar.He underplays when required to highlight other characters in film.His strong understanding of his plays keeps you glued to screen.
 
Boman Irani is awesome, to say the least. What a fine actor. Didnt finish the entire movie for some reason, but liked whatever I saw..
Wish they make more movies like that...and where those Hrishikesh Mukherji types middle of the road movies have vanished...used to love watching them...

Precious..saw this movie. Needless to say, acting was awesome by everyone...Oscar well deserved for Mo. But very disturbing movie and shows this horrific truth of a particular segment of society which shakes you up. Life is pretty hard on some and we whine with our lil' troubles. Lot to be learned by lot of us from this movie I believe. Worth a watch!

Happened to watch L.S.D lately, and must say its path breaking movie, arguably the first Hindi movie to shoot by a handy cam. Banerjee is too good, all of his movies are very earthy n' easy goin but unique in nature. LSD gives an hint of classic cult Pulp fiction, the way 3 separate stories goes parallel and cross ways once in while. One more thing, u always find Jat element in his movies, looks like he is fan of Jat dialect. I give it 4/5 :)

Ishqiya, one movie I was eager to watch for long, happened to watch this Sunday n' guys whatta refreshing movie it is, njoyed it thoroughly. Loved every single thing of it, be it typical country n' rustic location, b'ful village cinematography, desi touch in everything, desi lingo with usual abusing and arguably the best thing Arsad Warsi's mind-blowing acting. He simply outclassed all in a way even veteran Naseerudin, Vidya looked classy beauty n' performed well too. I repeatedly watched it for 3 times. Amazing movie in every aspect, give it 4.5/5 and full marks to Arsad Warsi for its authentic bhopali dialect !

Ishqiya undoubtedly is a move that is fuelled by the performances. It is a fine example of a great ensemble performance that shines through. Each and every cast member has put in their best efforts, irrespective of how quirky the characters may seem.
Arshad Warsi is on top gear as Babban and makes us wary of how under utilized an actor he truly is, and how much he deserves to thrive beyond the ‘Circuit’-model. Naseeruddhin Shah does what he does best, portraying his character with a veteran’s ease while retaining that certain playful charm and vulnerability, instantly reminding you of his Hero Hiralal days. Last but not least, is the crackling performance of Vidya Balan who embodies the complexities of an equivocal Krishna, blowing hot and cold as per the characters’ whims. And as they say, hell has no fury like a woman scorned.

watched PS I LOVE YOU it was an amazing movie.it is a story about true love which never die.a must watch to understand love and life.
 
Chameli Ki Sadi: goooood movie. Amrita Singh was good. 3.5/5.

Few days back, saw The Graduate.. Dustin Hoffman aali. Yo bhi suthra cinema tha. sadhe teen batte paanch iske bhi.
 
Ironman 2: 4/5
For all of us who enjoyed/ still enjoy the world of comics, Ironman 2 would be a delight to watch.
If not for anything else, watch the movie for subtle humor and the sharp repartee among the characters.
