Bombay Talkies, 4 tele films on different topics .. Karan Johar's take on homosexuality and all (as expected) was quite boring but what a socker Randeep Hooda locking lips with another guy, such a big let down. In second movie by Dibakar Benarjee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was brilliant as usual but tale was boring. Didn't had nerves to watch the third one by Joya Akhtar's movie about kids n' stuff. BUT 4th one was such a spirit lifter by Anugrag Kashyap. I seriously loved it. Anurag Kashyap sticks to his irreverent style and this can only be a good thing. A resident of Allahabad and from Amitabh Bachchan's neighborhood, is sent on a mission to locate the star and pinch a favor out of him. His optimism is mercilessly hacked by the unforgiving nature of the city and its people and before he knows it, a shroud of despair envelopes him. All he wants now is to go back. Well performed by Vineet Kumar Singh, Kashyap's story contains large doses of irony and hope and the right dash of humor. You got to listen 'Murabba' song as well, it's a class act. Kudos to Amit Trivedi and Kavita Seth!

OMG----Class Act Oops .

Damn I was so blind I could not see any Class in it . Next time I would make sure I would wear my grandmom glasses .

Let me say about movie apart from Fun----loose script , apart from 2-3 actors everybody's acting is sad . It has some cheap jokes which may make masses ( so called classie people) laugh not me . Climax absolute pathetic , typical mehengayee wale lame dialogues . N those dialogues make " Tax Inspector " and all the cops so emotional - typical bollywood logic and drama . Later they switch their sides .

If this is Class - Act ------buddy I m so glad apne meri ankhen khol di that I do not even know how to spell " Class Act ".

PS - For viewers just for fun , movie is good bas .

Please no offence I was trying to put my views here . N so many people so much different taste .
 
The Company You Keep

Robert Redford movie as an actor n director . Story was kinda different . In the beginning movie is quite good promise interesting twists and turns. Later expected and unrealistic climax and no twists . So disappointed , mysteries unfold during later half so uninteresting . Trailors were quite promising but not the movie . So many times movie has dialogues about truth , that truth is so bakwas whole truth finding mystery goes for toss .
As Robert after so long , so one can watch but please do not expect anything .
 
Indeed ( :) ) a good movie 3 on 5 .

Good acting . Different story . Script was haywire at some places . USP is Good Dialogues , after a while hindi movie with powerful dialogues . Negative role suits Rishi .
Arjun and that south Indian actor Prithviraj (Aiya hero ) powerful performance . Songs equally good .
Good movie to enjoy .

He is an actor so he has to act accordingly.
 
That's better but I can sense hint of frustration here. :)

The Best Offer

Geoffery Rush and Jim Sturgess starring . Simple story of trust , love , betrayal though no regrets . An old lonely successful auctioneer who has his own wonderful priceless collection falls in love with mysterious woman who claim to own some collection which she would like to auction .One old trusted friend and guy who becomes his frnd during the course . Ultimately all was a plan to steal his collection . Simple and kind of predictable story , but the way it was told quite good . The best part , there were no regrets no anger , coz whatever good, bad , ugly he loved it n missing it more than his priceless collection

True, But it was socker because I never expected sucha scene from him. Randeep has lot of potential he should do better and meaningful movies instead of cheap commerical craps likes of Mahesh Bhatt and now this Gay Johar.

I've been eagerly waiting to see his work of art 'Rangrasiya' but it bloody stuck in hopeless censor board!

True Romance

Typical story . Guy meet some call gal get married , went to her pimp kill him took his cociane , which he intend to sell and make some money out of it . Due to which some gangsters and cops are after him .
Screenplay is awesome , though predictable still keeps the viewer interested . No drama how a simple guy turn into shooter - logic they have used we all have a dangerous kind inside us when right time come that dangerous person comes out . There are scenes where hero imagine his evil or dangerous side and have dialogues with him .
Many good scenes - in one Dennis Hopper to Christopher Walkin impact of Negroes ( moors ) on Siciliy , hilarious . There is a fight between heroine and one of the gangster - Superb . Unexpected dialogues - for instance when guy shoot the gal's pimp he came back and gal started crying , viewer would expect heroine would say " now cops gonna catch u blah blah........" . However heroine says " B**** its very Romantic " .

Brad Pitt has a very small role of some lazy room mate

Must watch movie .

Starring Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette ( I have not seen much movie of these , if any one can suggest some good movie of them , Thanks in advance)

Ben Affleck , Javier Bardem starring

Now do not go by Casting . Super Bore movie . Meri toh samajh nahi aayee . Some gal with a daughter came from Paris to live with her love Ben . Later she went back , here Ben falls for another gal Rachel Adams ( Notebook wali ). Then Paris wali wants to come back , both get married . Now for Javier some priest who keep talking to himself " about finding god".
Not a single dialogue in movie , all were talking to themselves .
Mat dekhna , I wasted my time .

Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling .

Simple Story kafi Bollywood types . Ryan a motorcycle rider comes back to his home town , found out he has a son . Quit rider job ---start robbing banks to make money .
During one he had encountered with ambitious Cop Bradley Cooper who shot him and become hero . Then he reveal some unlawful activity in Police and become Attorney using that evidence.
After 15 years Ryan Son and Bradley son meet and got caught in some drug buying incident . Thru series of events Ryan son gotta know about his birth father and Bradley killed his father . End is Ryan son left home -n bought motorcycle like his father .
Acting of Ryan n Bradley is good . As a confused , ambitious , guilt concious Cop - Bradley did good . Ryan small role , but effective . Somehow I liked that killing of Ryan scene , Bradley was shocked n Ryan lying dead in his pool of blood . So many scenes of Bradley , indeed a amazing job .
