The Attacks of 26/11

Hats off to RGV for such a class act and Nana Patekar's intense acting just blows your mind, Take a Bow !

This movie is utterly disturbing and dark, it for sure leaves you sad n' low and angry at the same time. It's arguably the most terrifying cold blooded terrorist attack in history of mankind and it's so disgusting n' shameful but govt didn't take revenge instead they invite the enemies for dinner. Wish they could learn from USA, how they eliminated Taliban empire in Afghanistan after 11/9 attack.

I give it 4/5, I would give it 5/5 if RGV wouldn't skip NSG operation part from the movie as black cat were the real heroes who finished those ba$tards.

Found this nice review at IMDB, worth sharing -

The biggest plus in this movie is the way Nana Patekar carries the movie on his shoulders. He is, without question, an elite artist in Indian-language movies. He comes as close as anyone can to perfection on every outing. I think the world is shockingly ignorant of this gem of India. The people it acknowledges are, almost totally, far beneath his stature. There was an imbalance in the movie. Varma seemed to revel in scenes of vulnerable people being shot. I hope this isn't some sick obsession of his. I really did like Satya and Company. There was brutal violence in them, but way short of the first part of this movie. Focusing on the fearful eyes of small children takes it a bit too far for me. On the other hand, the whole NSG part of the story was brushed aside with a single line. I wanted to see how the movie would handle that. Varma decided it wasn't worth the time or expense. The part of the movie focusing on Kasab during his imprisonment was worth dealing with. We have no idea if any of the action happened in real life, but it did send a worthwhile message. It made me want to find out what the final disposition of the terrorist bodies was. I can't see a "respectful burial" for people who had no religion but spilling blood of innocents. Another epilogue is the fate of the handlers back in Pakistan. If ISI could sneak people this easily into Mumbai, could RAW repay the gesture? Look what Navy Seals did with Osama Bin Laden. But back to the very best quality. Nana. He deserves the highest artistic honor India can give him. I've seen other actors who've gotten it, and very few deserve it more.

A must watch movie. Period.

One good love story with all bollywood drama . Banarasi hindu kid Kundan ( Dhanush )fall in love with banarasi muslim Zoya ( Sonam )gal . After many failed attempts gal says yes --she is 9 class . Parents gotta know about same send her away . Kid become older still in love with her . She came back tell that guy she was a just kid back then, However guy still truly , madly , deeply in love with her . She ask for help from him to set things for her BF Akram / Jasjeet ( Abhay Deol ) who is upcoming politician . Hero ( Dhanush ) helped her , later on figured out that Abhay is Hindu not muslim . Some muslim guys beat him up , heroine try to commit suicide . Abhay parents take him back home , hero take heroine to Abhay place to patch things up . OOPS , Akram / Jasjeet has died . Now the heroine is damn angry , hero in order to help heroine join their movement . However heroine out of jealousy and hatred helped some other politician to get him killed . Later she realize her mistake , but its too late . OOPS HERO died too.

Good Things :
1- Amazing acting , Dhanush superb ( he has proven looks has got nothing to do with acting )
2- Sonam ----way to better , Abhay looks dashing as usual ......kuch khas role hi nahi tha uska.
3- Story simple ......predictable ...apart from few and major twists
4- Used the basic funds gals are b***** and guys are Super dhhhhhhhs ( No offence to anyone exceptions are always there )
5- Not faltoo ke romantic dialogues , superb dialogues
6- All the songs are well placed , though songs are not that good its A R Rehman music if u would listen to songs only
7 - Dhanush Hindi ----great

Bad Thing :
1- Movie thodi lambi hai , but justified hai .

I would say agar lambi nahi hoti ------I could have watched some more times .

MUST watch Hindi movie .

I believe the review of this movie is already present on this thread. Anyway

Gulaal 3.5/5.

Based on old Rajputana riyasat in backdrop of current college politics. The beginnig of movie is awesome, especially the hostel scenes.
Character "Ransaa" is too good

I m glad I did not waste any penny on same and sad as wasted my time . Even if u had nothing to do , still I would not suggest to watch same .
Just do not watch it .

Fukrey
2.5/5 - worth watching once for sure and worth the money spent but may be I had a bit high expectations after hearing so much about it

The Lesser Blessed

3 on 5

Okay to watch , Story a youngster who happened to burn his father n himself in an accident . Sort of a loner , make friends - come out of his fear of bad past .

Ghanchakkar

2.5 on 5

Less than average . Watching the trailors we all know the story . Vidya ----no scope of acting , may be after watching Kahani like movies more expectations from her . She works well as protagonist otherwise okay . Emraan - different , again okay . 2 sidekicks better . Some funny scenes bank robbery for eg good . Rest of movie jokes are pathetic and cheap . Climax sort of action scene -----bakwas . Last 2 min when they reveal the mystery is good . As per me No .

Raanjhana

3.5 on 5

MUST watch Hindi movie .

I would give 3 (Overall) to the movie. First half: 3.5, second half: 2.5

Dhanush: has done a good job, good dialogue delivery with face expressions & body language.
Murari (Dhanush's Friend): 4.5. His role is the best & deserve a round of appluase of natural acting.

First half is worth your ticket cost.

'The Heat' 3.5/5

A really good light hearted comedy and both the leading ladies make your laughing balls are tickled hard.
