Dear R.Nain,
It is the political agenda of congress long before Independence to divide JATS as much as possible resulting in INDO-PAK Partition in 1947 which led to partition of United Punjab then largest & dominating state also formation of new states led to division in the population of JATS furher Punjab was divided into Punjab, Himachal & Haryana. Indira Gandhi led govt. supported extremist leadres like Bhindrwala & Jagjit singh Chauhan which were demanding Khalistan for Sikhs.
Majority of Jats in Punjab have adopted sikkhism on the call of Guru Govind Singh to devote the elder son from each family who became khalsa ( Sikh Army Soldier) to campaign against the invader muslims to protect the hindu from their forced conversion to Islam, this tradition continued from generation to generation.
How do you define Sikhs as different from Hindu's ???
You can see lot's of Sikhs going to temples and non sikh Hindu's going to gurudwara's,
Sikhism is an important branch of Moderate Hinduism, most families still have mix of keshdhari's and non keshdharis for example families of Dharmendera & Dara Singh infact Dara Singh is the present president of All India Jat Mahasabha, above all A JAT is JAT Before his religion you must have heard of terms Jatsikh, Moole Jat. If u have seen the movie GADAR u must have heard Amrish Puri calling Sunny Deol (who acted as a Sikh)JATT.
Even muslim Jats in Pakistan are proud of being JAT's & still suffix/Prefix Chowdhary which is the symbol of JAT pride thruout Indian Subcontinent.
Bania's & Brahmins can never be friends or wellwishers of Jats & enough of evidence above have been provided that Jats all over India are our real brothers none other can replace them.

Dear Mr. Nain,
I am unable to understand as to what exactly you want to convey in this post. Could you please be more elaborate.
Thanks
sir all that i am implying is that we jave jatts living across our border in punjab,n they r very similar to us n many of them do retain a brotherly feeling towards us ,i just wonder should we feel more close to a baniya or a brahmin or to a fellow jat whos of another religion[/quote]
