It was the result of their double standard on terrorism.. Now I hope they (USA, UK and ohter developed country) will understand well that the roots of terrorism are in pakistan where they (terrorists) make their plans and execute in whole world by the support of SAUDIA money (As rajendra uncleji have said in their earlier post). Without destroying these terrorist camps (in pakistan) terrorism can not be controlled and removed

Now watch and wait what will happen in coming months and days....I think its time to India for playing it's card well in our ..

India doesn't deserve to play such kind of cards. Our politicians can play all kind of cards in India only not outside the India.
This is the unfortunate to the youth of our country to have such politicians.

No blame has been put to a Group but Tony Blair has confirmed it is a Terrorist Attack on us.

Tony Blair will be leaving the Gleneagles G8 Summit in the next few hours to get first hand reports from the Police and Inteligent Agncies.

He will return in the evening to the G8 Summit in Gleneagles.

All,

In light of the current incidents that have occurred in London this morning, anyone travelling to the capital is strongly advised against doing so.

Trains are being turned away, and roadblocks have been erected across the city, making entering or leaving London extremely difficult.

If you are stranded in London, please book into a hotel.

Regards,

Ham

Bhai Mukesh,

You are advising the politicians of our country to play card, but I think you have forgotten that even our defence minster on U.S. air port par nagga khada ho jata hai security check up kara ne ke liye.

Bhai Hamendra
Mujhe nahi lagta ki koi bi country apni scurity ensure ke liye agar kisi ki bi checking lee jati hai to usme koi burai hai ab chaye wo koi bhoot barha leader ho ya koi bikhari.....Ab agar apne defence minister ki U.S. Airport par checking huwi thi and usmaie yeh hoo hallha macha rehe the to bhi yeh sab inki(politicians) SAMANTWADI thinking hi hai jisme samant and rich is being consider superior then law.
. In my views none should be supreme then the law. Every one should respect & follow the law chaye wo koi bi hoo......

It seems the world peace will always remain a dream. God bless those souls who fell prey to these inhuman acts of violence. During the last few days : renewed attacked on US forces including downing of helicopter in Afghanistan, Ayodhaya and London. I apprehend the fire in a plaza in Canada is also the handiwork of terrorists. Is it Al-Qd with renewed vigour ? Who is supplying the much needed oxygen to them ? When these two faced creatures Bush and party will wake up ? The whole world is crying it is Pakistan which is the mother of all terrorism. Still these fools are indulging in strategic partnerships with Pakis. Are they scared of Pakistan ?

You are little right. But dear we have only two options either show our faith in our current politicians or thrown out them from their post if they are not able to justice with their job.

It is really unfortunate that this time our leaders are blaming on each other rather then finding a solution of this problem and sending a strong message to the rest world that we will not endure the terrorism now at any cost...
Now Mr. Advani should understand that this problem couldn't be solved by the BAND and DHARNA. All politician should sit together to make a strong policy to prevent our nation from any future attack... .
Lakin afsos yeh nahi samjna chate is baat ko...

Dear Mukesh,
It was not the concerned of the security. If the Defence Minister is invited and visiting that country and still those people have thought that the defence minister of India may be having some explosives. If the U.S. government doesn’t believe even on Defence Minister then what treatment will be there for a common country man?
I have not heard that any other country's defence minister has been stopped at air port for security. Why only Indian Defence Minister.

They are not scared but they want a 'CHELA' in Asia who can follow them blindly. It is the only country in Asia who looks towards US/Europe for every help. And gives its land to do any thing.

And hence get ready for backlash on streets, gives one more reason to gangs of skinheads to pounce upon browns, and they can't differentiate between indians and pakistanis.

Scared for sure but from whom?

Having a "chela" in a part of world which is gaining prominence economically and militarily (read, in terms of nuclear capability), is important for the country that aspire to continue remaining at the forefront of what is now commonly accepted as a unipolar world. But I think there is more to it than what meets the eye. Pakistan is an important "mohra" in U.S. plans of combating the hardliners in places like Afghanistan and Iran. There is no way for U.S. to have geographical access to the Afghanistan if Pak is not on their right side. Additionally, it is no secret that the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan are breeding grounds for the worst kind of terrorists in the world with the widely accepted reports of even the lynchpin of these kinds of activities - Osama bin Laden - hiding in that area. By picking that area as his hiding place Osama seems to be highlighting as to who rules that area. And mind you, this despite the fact that U.S. has a major military presence in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Just imagine if this presence is not there what could happen. And let's not forget that Osama has gone one record to say multiple times that the terrorism in Kashmir (which he and people like him are selling to the misled youth of Kashmir as a "jehad") is at the top of his agenda. It surely is not in our interest to have the perpetrators of terror a free rein so close to our homes.

Now with all the visible flaws of the Musharraf Govt., it is probably in the best interest of everyone that it continues for as long as there is peace in that part of the world as the alternative to Musharraf's control is extremely scary. That alternative is - rule of most corrupt politicians in the world who have the additional qualification of leaning towards the hardliners and who are known sympathizers of the Osama and his clan next to our homes. There was widespread news in the world media not too long back about the meetings that Nawaz Sharif had with Osama and the terrorist camps that their information minister was, and has been, running across the border. Most of the Pakis that I have had the opportunity to interact with think that inspite of the grandiose ego that Musharraf has and despite all of his despotic tendencies, he is ten time better than their spineless politicians. And these are the people who are not poisoned with the religious bigotry and who are candid enough to accept that there is a problem with what is going on in Kashmir and that the innocents being killed is reprehensible by any standards. Worse still, they believe that if these politicians come back to power before the resolution of the Kashmir problems, the “ulemas” and “mullahs” will be calling shots before long and their would be total anarchy again; prompting the army to stage a coup for the umpteenth time in Pakistan.

My heart bleeds every time I hear of a terrorist attack in India and I was one of those who would have loved to see the resolution of this problem once and for all when Indian forces were mobilized all along the border in the aftermath of the attack on Indian parliament. Too bad that the gutless politicians on this side of the border - these dhoti walahs – asked the soldiers to step down just when they were raring to go. The result - a more than Rs. 300 crore burden on the poor tax payers, a dejected/demoralized armed force and a disillusioned/frustrated chief of army staff who was otherwise extremely capable and had the vision to see this all through.

But with that situation past us, we should choose the best option that we have now. Too bad that we are staring at Hobson's choice where it is either extending the support to the master mind of Kargil war or face the risk of seeing the sympathizers of terrorists return back to power. But this is how it is. Having said that, we have to play this game at two levels - just the way Israel does in their home territory. They talk about a peaceful solution on one hand and at the same time do not hesitate to attack the centers of terror, irrespective of their geographical locations, when things cross the limit. I would not say that we should do verbatim what they are doing, but definitely we can selectively target the terrorist training centers that we know are operating across the border.

We have to realize that in today's world where the nuclear arsenal is in the danger of falling into the hands of terrorists, there is a very fine line to tread for democracies around the world. The west surely does not want to see the emergence of Asia as an economic power (as has been corroborated by the widespread cries of "security threat" against the CNOOC's acquisition bid for Unocal) and therefore, they would not hesitate in turning a blind eye to the terrorist attacks at places like India. However, the London attacks are a chilling reminder to the western world that they can not continue to do so for much longer. Hopefully, they would wake up soon enough and do something different this time.

Let's all join together in condemning these attacks. After all, who knows better than us as to how much it hurts to see one's brethren lying in pools of blood when fools blow up cities and kill indiscriminately in the name of “God” or “religious wars”.

Manu
