Dear Upendra Ji,

Thanks a lot for organizing the community together. I am sure, as the years go by, more and more Jats in Mumbai and surrounding areas will join the community functions. It takes a lots of effort to organize any function. Heartiest congratulations on organizing a successful community meet. Keep it up.
The pictures are beautiful.
 
Dear Mumbai Chapter

I propose a third Mumbai jats meet at Elephenta caves on 12 Feb 2006 [sunday]. It will be a farewell get together for Col Jagmohan sir [kind of] along with other exchanges of pleasentaries. We will share the expenditure of the meet proportionately, without bothering the non earning members/students[only those who are in a position to contribute]. Kindly pour in your suggestions/ inputs. Members from other chapters are welcome to join as guest and they will be treated as our MEHMAAN. I expect many more Jats,who are hidding in Mumbai to join us and share their thoughts and grace the occasion. It will be a good two way ride by the small ship from gateway of india to Caves location followed by meeting and hot food. We wish to transact something very important and Meaningful this time. Let the suspense be a suspense. All the best !

Respected dahiya sir,

It's a very good idea to have third mumbai jat meet at Elephenta caves. I also welcome the the idea of sharing the expenditure by earning members.
But you have said the it will be a kind of farewell to Jagmohan sir, where he is going?
Anyway I will be there along with my family.

Bhai Upen, the day one comes to know from where one is coming and going, the whole purpose of life is achieved. Bhai, kahan ja rahein hain ye to pataa nahin par haan ja jaroor rahein hain...

Bhai Dev, can we have it in Apr. The exams etc would be over by then and probably more people would be available. However, should members feel Feb is fine, then I too have no problem and would be there.

both the time i have exams or class.(i am doing my MBA from NMIMS)
but this time i will definately there as i can plan it right now.

3rd mumbai jat meet

Thankyou for taking the initiative for 3rd Jat meet.we can not have it on 11th April as it is on tuesday and Mahavir Jayanti is not a holiday for everyone. We can have it on 14th April( Good friday holiday) or on 16th April( Sunday).Also we can not delay it further, if want the full participation including families as by then scholl will be start closing and summer vacation will started.
Kindly post some details regarding venue,time etc.

Bhai Upendra ji, Your suggesten has been considered and accordingly we would like to meet in June. Let us see what date suits the members? Ofcourse venue willl be elephenta caves.Suggestions are welcome!

Dear DEV,

I think we should have it in the second half of Jun, 18th or 25th. We would have had a pre-monsoon shower or two by then. Even the school holidays would be over or getting over.

My seven years experience of this city is that it is easier to go to meet one's family in Meerut than to plan to meet a friend in Mumbai. Kuchh ne kuchh ola, solla atkya e rah se.

Bhai, mein to chalya chutti (15 May to 16 Jun). Chhore ne byah aaoon!!

Elphanta Caves ki trip jyada time consuming to nahin hoi jya gi? In any case Bhai, decide a date and announce it. Jo Gateway of India pahunch gya, le chaal lein ge. My suggestion is that iss baar sab apna khaan peen ka intejam khud karein to achha hai. Pot Luck. Pher sab mil baant ke do toook share kar leinge. Chhote bachhe jiske hain vo Paani ghar se lekar aaiyo bhai... The last time I visited these caves was in Dec 1974. I remember that day even the King of Bhutan was visiting the caves. He was just about 17 years then and coronated weeks before. There were no eating places then but may be now we have some place where we can also get food?

Its time to say good bye to all Jat Mumbaikar as i will be leaving this city in mid June and wont be able to attend my second MJM, but definitely i will be carrying with me the memories of the meet at Upendra Singh's residence.
As i will be shifting to Pune, I am looking forward to join similar group in Pune.

Dear Mumbai JATNIS & JATS,

I have had a wonderful time with you all during the two meetings we had in the past. All thanks to DEV who started this wonderful gesture that was so lovingly kept up by UPEN.

I had a meeting with DEV on 19 Jun 2006. DEV is expecting his posting very soon and looks like that my 'Daana Paani' in Mumbai is over. I had resigned from the job in Apr 2006 but the company has finally let me go wef 22 Jun 2006. I leave for Meerut tomorrow. I keep joking with my family members that RAM was given a vanvaas of only 14 years. He was lucky to have his wife and younger brother with him. I have been on a vanvaas since the last 38 years and I believe it is TIME TO GO HOME.

I wish each and everyone of you and your loved ones a very happy, healthy & wealthy future. May you all work hard towards achieving your dreams.
