Muslim Jats

I made some bad comments about muslims, after doing some research, i have come to conclusion: Muslims are not bad, its the Islam which which make them(not all) bad. Its the basic teaching that is flawed. Till they follow islam in strict sense, they can never be normal human beings.

Its in quran that says you can never challenge the Allah. If muslims cant even have debates about Islam, it wont be reformed ever. The moment they decide to have discussion on quran, how outdated it is, Islam wont be the same because discussion will surely bring reform in their society. I dont see that happening in near future.

I came across some muslim jats from pakistan and as i expected they were more Jat then a muslim. 90% of muslim jats are more proud to be jat rather then muslim, just like hindu/sikh jats. It was good to see that jats maintain their identity irespective of religion they follow.

Jat population in pakistan is >20% of total and thats a lots of Jats and i also realized why pakistan is not progressing . j/k

Muslim jats are the most powerful community in pakistan today.

I think it will be good to open this forum for sikh jats and muslim jats.

Very matured observations. As they say, excess of anything is bad...in their case its excess of religion and which is stopping any sensible thinking. Only freely thinking societies can progress.. Concept of God is not supreme and we human have every right even to question this very basic foundation.

Rathee though what Atul is saying about Mullah jats is a fact.....my grandfather told me that there are some jats who were forced to take Islaam and later they had become hindus again....and are called Mooley jats....but the universal fact is that they loved to be alive and hence,accepted to change religion and thus are untrusworthy....jo apna dharam chhodd dey wo manas kiss kamm ka....i would have rather accepted death rather than accepting Islam

I totally agree with your point of view, its not the Muslims but the fanaticism which is bestowed upon them the real cause behind this difficult situation. Hopefully it will get better with time, as they say those who do not bend break sooner.

Take example of Gokula, he was killed because he refused to become muslim and his family was converted to Islam.

How can Gokula's kids could refuse to accept islam when they dont even know what Jat means. How Gokulas poor wife can refuse to convert to islam when she has to think of her kids.

Dear All,

We are putting the cart before the horse and not giving the topic a more serious thought. Let us not dismiss the issue with abusive language and accusations. I am no authority on Islam but have some basic understanding & knowledge, good enough to know that the problem of Islamic Fundamentalism can’t be overcome by accusing all Muslims as traitors and children producing machines. In my belief it is very necessary to know more about Islam, why it has come to be known as a ‘Fundamentalist’ religion, is there some ‘grand design’ at work here, whom does it benefit and the affect it would have on our nation in the future.

Let us be very clear on few things first. You can’t wish them away and it is impossible to ‘Wipe-Them-Out’. In India the Muslim community is one of the most backward, uneducated, neglected, suspected etc. You can’t blame Muslims just because they are united and believe in one God. Who has stopped the Hindus from practicing their faith? Also, despite popular belief, there is equal amount of fissure in Muslim society, if not more than Hinduism. Just pick up a Muslim matrimonial section of any newspaper and you would know what I am referring to. And add the animosity between Wahabi & Barelvi thought, Shiua & Sunnis, Arabs and others.

Islam came into being because of the corruption that had set in the ‘Idol Worshipping’ communities in the Middle East. Just like the way renaissance in Europe that started when people questioned the corruption in the Church. Historically even Hinduism has enough blood on its hands. Just study what they did to Buddhists. What they did was as bloody as what Mughal invaders did to Hindus later in time, if not more. So each and every religion has its stories of shame.

There would be always a struggle between Islam and other religions. It is a fact and history. Does it mean that a nation having the second largest population of Muslims should involve itself in name-calling and witch hunting? Doesn’t our population, most of it still poor, deserve basic necessities of life? Will we keep repeating the past mistakes and never know how to live in peace & harmony? What would be the end result of such tension in society? Can we survive as a nation with such fault lines? I think these are the questions we should ask our selves and seek an answer for, rather than calling names.
