जिन्ना ने विभाजन के समय कहा भी था कि जो पाकिस्तान बन रहा है इसमें जितने भी हिन्दू हैं वो भारत चले जाएँ और भारत में जितने मुसलमान हैं वो सब पाकिस्तान आ जाएँ परन्तु ये गाँधी और नेहरु को स्वीकार नहीं था, जिसका परिणाम आज हम भुगत रहे हैं.

गाँधी और नेहरु तो भारत का सत्यानाश करके मर-खप गए, अब उनको बुरा-भला कहो, गालियाँ दो अथवा उनकी समाधि पर कोड़े बरसाओ, भारत को इससे कोई लाभ नहीं होने वाला है.

मेरे विचार से यह विषय बहुत ही गंभीर है की एक तरफ तो आप जाट समाज के लगातार मांग के बाद भी उन्हे रिजर्वेशन नहीं दे रहे और दूसरी तरह बिना किसी तरह की मांग के सिर्फ अपने फायेदे के लिए एक समुदाय विशेस को प्रलोभन दे रहे है जो की अभी तक इस देश और इसके कानून को पूरी तरह अपनाने को तयार नहीं है ! पहले तो सरकार ने धर्म के आधार पर अलग -२ क़ानून बनाये और अब एक और नई वयवस्था कर रहे है जोकी पूरी तरह आसवेधानिक और अन्याय पूर्ण है !

Congress is not just indulging in vote bank politics, but is hell bent on destroying the social fabric and very existence of our nation.

Religion based reservation in or for any forum is a strict no-no as per the constitution. The very basis Pakistan (including East Pakistan and now Bangladesh) came into existence was religion. Giving reservation again to muslims would be REPEATING HISTORY WITH THE NEXT STEP OF THIS TRAITOR (GADDAR) CONGRESS PARTY WOULD BE TO RESERVE CERTAIN MP/MLA/COUNCILOR SEATS FOR MUSLIMS - GOING BACK TO PRE-PARTITION/PRE-INDEPENDENCE ERA.

After all, we are being ruled by an angrez madam who is following the same policy of divide and rule.

All those people who support the Congress gameplan of religion based reservation are NO LESS TRAITORS (GADDARS). Why use the word Minority for providing reservation when the ultimate beneficiary is MUSLIM? All other SO CALLED minority communities like Sikhs, Parsis, Christians have progressed without reservation? So why reservation for MUSLIMS? But, no party has the guts and intention to scrap this policy which is the mainstay of their survival. How caste-based reservation can be justified when the economic status of people of one particular caste is not same. For example, the owners of DLF would also claim to be backward if reservation is granted to Jats. Do they really need it? I know so many SC/ST and OBC who are economically much better than me. I don't see any rationale in the reservation policy on both -religious as well caste basis. There are two solutions in my mind. (i) Provide proper educational opportunities to the economically poorer sections to enable their children compete with their counterparts from economically superior classes; (ii) Just like BPL, government must identify people from the lowest strata of society having no means of survival for the purpose of granting reservation. Agree word by word. I am completely against any reservation for anyone rather I would say give better educational opportunites to the less previliged like hostels, extra classes, reach out to the needy and make them to be able to compete with general people.
BUT, to do that you need to root out corruption first.

I didn't understand how my post adds to the diversion? I am not going to make any comments on Congress' minority appeasement on this thread because the opening post is not about it. Not at all. It is instead deeply mischievious, as is the record of this poster.

Let me say bluntly what is going on. As Mr. Karmveer rightly said, Congress came out with this announcement despite any movement asking for reservations from Muslims. So what should a logical person question- I guess Congress' intents? Instead, our resident saviours of hinduism are using this opportunity for Muslim-bashing. And their sympathisers are saying that it is the nationalist thing to do. "Why this kolaveri kolaveri di" against Muslims when they didn't even ask for it?

I wonder if these people even know what nationalism stands for. Talking about India's constitution and throwing out Muslims out of India - the irony is hard to beat. Maybe they studied India's constitution in Pakistan - a place where kids are taught things like this. The first and foremost thing anyone who believes in the idea of India is to call out such mischief loud and clear. I can't (and I don't think any nationalist Indian should) think of it in strategic terms - that I am anti-Congress, so is this guy; forget the nonsense he is spewing and just play along on anti-Congress lines.

Sorry, I am not going to comment on the rest of your post, even though it is excellent and worth engaging. But not on this thread.

By diversion, i mean, you had the opportunity to bring the thread back to the where it belongs and redefine the objective,and by not doing so, the vested interests would get an opportunity to mark this serious issue as just another Anti Minority rhetoric: at least the thread needs some discussion. Such threads do need thrashing though! I believe the object of this thread is to put forward for deliberation the following questions/points:

a. Does the Muslim Community with more than adequate representation in Bollywood, Executive (Current Vice President, Ex-President, Chief Election Commissioner, etc. etc. occupiers of top posts in the Corporate world) ACTUALLY NEED RESERVATION? If they are backward - are the other communities including Jats not backward???? How many Chief Justices, Presidents, Chief Election Commissioners, Bollywood, Defence Force Chiefs are or were Jats??

b. Is the Congress party indulging in Muslim appeasement by giving reservation and going soft on terrorism (fomented by Islamists - Examples - Afzal Guru, Kasab, Hasan Ali (Hawala Money dealer))??

c. Is the Muslim appeasement policy of the Congress party not polarising the society on religious lines?? When the other communities receive a second class citizen treatment - are they not bound to resent? Is it not natural for them to resent? Is it not human when the constitution guarantees EQUALITY?

I would like to add on one more point/request to fellow members and members from all communities including Hindus and Muslims to wipe out this Dangerous Weed - Congress Party.

Bhai Chaudhary sahab, you do have a point, I agree that all needy must be given helping hand, but as Rajputs, jats of Bharatpur, Brahamins not given reservation because some were rulers and some had higher status in the society, same way Muslims and even christians were rulers as well as they enjoyed higher status in the society plus enjoyed all the aids/benifits/previleges give to the ruling religions, thus muslims and christians are not entitled reservation as per govt policy based on our constitution. Either govt should abolish this system of reservation or abolish the system of reservation on caste/religion bases and introduce system based on economical condition of the individual as one time help.Reservation to generations, in employment, promotions, appointments, quottas, help in legal matters, sympathatic consideration in dealing with defaulters from reserved catagory people, reservation in elctions tickets, manistary birth, various awards, gas connections, etc is not at all justified and must be abolished. Instead of reservation govt should give resources and opportunities to the needy based on marrit and natural justice. regards
