Hi Dear, I am very happy. My poem (Mumbai – NO-Man’s Land) has been published in today's Hindustan Times newspaper (Maharashtra Edition) on Page 4. JUST THOUGHT TO SHARE IT WITH ALL OF YOU :)

Congratulations Nitin.

I just read your poem and liked it a lot. I appreciate the fact that you could rhyme all stanzas without being loose on the feel of the subject.

Most modern poems ignore rhyme, which is not necessarily a bad thing at all. If that can help you put more of your emotions on paper, go for it.

Mumbai:
No-Man’s Land

This City home to millions…Smell of sweat and grit spread across miles
Banner-adorned city with long walls…Faking eternal bliss with mock smiles

Land of dreams or city of discontent…Clutching destinies in empty fists
Flickering lights, zooming fantasies…Paced life’s savaged twists

Wealth and dearth endure as one…Resembling god and devil smiling together
Burning desires run the machines…Missing the hidden soul in the other

Snubbing the silence of emotions… Know words of riches and clout only
Seducing the seekers with gripping aura…Misery creeping in silently

Refuge for both beauty and beast…Rain roars the beauty in the beast
Frozen faces with itching desires…Pushing the beast for fiery feast

!!!Save the city…Save the souls…Up the feelings...Be human!!!
