Dear forum,

Mera Pranam sweekar kijye( Sabhi jatto ko meri Raam Raam)

I am very new to the JatLand, so well before I start, I would like to introduce my self....I am Ankur Baliyan from Muzaffar Nagar ( Uttar Pradesh ). I though a lot to join this group and it has been around 3 years while I was thinking should I join or not? ....Mr. Bhupender Singh from Barwala ( Muzaffar Nagar ) told me about this group while I was a Senior Engineer in Computer Science Corporation (CSC). I resigned my job in INDIA and joined 21st Century Center of Excellence, Bio-Nano Fusion Center in JAPAN, I am currently working on Carbon Nanotubes based Nanobearing and Nanosystems based applications. I had so many reason not to join the group. I have gone through the group throughly for most of the post which lot of member posted recently. I want to help to the student who believe that they can change the face of Technology...

Basically, I am very passionate about Reseach..which resulted me to join the latest technology named Nanotechnology..... This technology for those people ' Who want to play with indidual Atom' . The potentional of this technology is that world will be destroyed and recreated with Nanotechnology...Say for example. Carbon Nano tubes...Which are around 6 times stronger then Stainless steel ( which is the strongest material known) and weight is 1/6th of the Stainless Steel. Thermal conductivity is around 1000 times greater then Diamond. electrical Conductivity is 1000 times greater then Copper. Microprocessor chip will be replace with Nanotubes in coming future. Entire Microelectronics will be replaced with Carbon Nanotubes because of the limitation of fabrication of circuits at nanoscale and diffraction limit. Cancer like dagerous disease can be effectively treated with Targeted Drug Delivery with out side effects. Super suite will be availabe in coming day which will never be dirty. Its like which was given by the Ansuiya to the Sita in ramayana. One can lift the indidual atom and can place whereever he likes. The list can go on more then 10 pages. In Next 5 years 250 billion dollar money will be injected in Nanotechnology around the world. Now the million dollar question comes...Why I am telling this to you all? while most of the people are intrested in IT companies.....

This technology is going to change the face of present technology in a significant way...Means drastic change is expected in coming 4-5 years. The future of someone and its own county depend on the kind of technology we are using today and are expected tomorrow... We all are responsible for taking this world forward. Our responsibility is to give the world future scientist who can push the limit of impossibility and set a benchmark....so that we can tell the forthcoming generation that this is what we have set.....and you have to take this forward..... I still remember the words of my colleague while I was in IIT...Who is the intelegent one? then the answer was..No one is intelegent, the one who have awareness he is the intelegent one.....So what mattes is awareness the most...if you have good academic record but you dont know what to opt for your future but rather you follow the conventional path like most of the people do in INDIA we call that 'Bhad chal'...and who is responsible for that..the student or society where they live and grow or their parents to be blame. Well, Its a very complicated issue...So I think this is our (The people who got opportunity for a good education) resposibility to take the future of Jat students or students to take forward....I am here a consultent for those student who want to mark their presence in future technology.....

Please feel free to contact me at any time when ever you like..

Welcome Ankur we always need a good light on our path. and also not everyone is in IT :) we are pepole from many fields together . It feels very good to know that our jat brother is into this kind of complex and latest research. i am in to Physical Design of System On Chip for Set-top Boxs also worked in wireless SOC. I am working in STMicroelectronics India.I am also working with neno-tech but i am not into research field but in implementation part of the domain.we know as we are moving down to the tech (node size e.g 32nm), now we are facing so many issues and Physical design of any SOC is becoming very complex. with the reduced size more n more logic is coming into core area and reducing cost of products i always thought that we are going to a dead end But now carbon neno tubes WOW :)

Dear Ankur please inform me which branch of engineering one has to pursue for opting research in Nano Technology.-

Dear Jatin,

Nanotecnology is interdisciplinery subject. This means, that one has to be a little versatile, like he/she has to learn Physics,Chemistry,Mathmatics, Electronics,Computer,Machanics,Materials Science, Metallurgy, biotechnology, Plant-biotechnology, Robotics and of course Nanotechnology. Beauty of Nanotechnology is that things start behaving in a very differnt way when its comes to Nano size, That mean we are approching to the quantum limit of indidual atom. One can start by opting any one of the mention subject, later he can learn other subject too which is genrally very easy and its like integration which takes less time. In INDIA, Nanotechnology is in Master's and not in bachelor. Hope it helps.

Nanotechnolgy Kit

Sir, Thanks for the detailed reply. In India one institution of Jaipur is offering Nanotechnology Kit for Rs.5000/-, is it worth purchasing as i think it contains info about Nanotechnology and not and practical kit. Is any educational material is there in market to have some surface knowledge about the technology i.e. CD,DVD or any Book that you think is best for knowing before opting it as career? if yes please inform in details for procuring that/them.

Nanotechnology Kit,

Dear Jatin,

Well, your question can be answered in a different way... This is my personal opinion, Nanotechnology can't be learn with Nanotechnoloy KIT,
unless you have a basic knowledge of science...and if you have basic knowledge then KIT can help you to understand the science behind Nanotechnology...There is a organization in INDIA which can provide the Nanotechnology KIT and that can be very useful to you..for further details about the Institute can be find at NSTC Noida.. I can suggest you the good books which can be very useful to you...But well before I state you all the books name I must know about your educational backgroud so that I can suggest you accordingly....

To Vivek Dhankhar,

Dear Vivek... really we need people like you to take the community forward...I am glad to know that you are too working in Nanotechnology...Generally I get plenty of mail asking me to help this Electronics guys....I think you can help them in a much better way...If you agree then I can forward the queries to you in future.... I will be waiting for your response...
