1. The non-visibility of Hindi text in some computers is due to non-installation of Devanagari 'fonts'. Each Hindi website uses its own fonts - Punjab Kesari also uses fonts of its own. Unfortunately, there is no common platform for these fonts which have to be installed in PCs and these are not automatically fitted into the web browsers. Sometimes this phenomenon also occurs due to browser's 'encoding'.

2. A request to Inderjeet Tomar: Could you please fetch the relevant book (it should be available with any class-XII student of a CBSE affiliated school) and get the relevant chapter typed on a computer and post it here.

3. Aur RK ji, nothing will happen by going to Ministry of Education. There is a big lobby of communist historians and scholars who are scattered all over India - in JNU, research institutions, NCERT, other universities and academic sites. The authors of such books are mainly driven by communist ideology. It was the BJP Government which had removed these books from schools and the then Minister of Education Murali Manohar Joshi was heavily criticised by this lobby, terming him as part of "Bhagwa Brigade". This lobby even challenged the Govt.'s decision in court. Supreme court rejected their petition and found nothing wrong in removing such books from syllabus. Since the present govt. at the centre is surviving because of support of Communist parties, the decision of the previous government has reportedly been shelved under pressure from such elements. There are many anomalies in such history books - Muslim rulers are being glorified, there is no mention about Rana Pratap, Shivaji, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Maharaja Suraj Mal, Subhash Chandra Bose and many such personalities. According to such historians, Rajputs had no national sense, Guru Govind Singh was a 'petty robber', Jats were uncivilised and Akbar was 'The Great' !
