When we reflect a little, one will note that there is little sense in aimlessly lashing out in revenge.

This is just a bad incident, a crime.

It was designed to get a lot of attention, and it did, thanks to an irresponsible media.

It needs a police solution, not a military one.

This was crime, the perpetuators, should be be caught and punished. More importantly, those who master minded it should be caught and punished, like common criminals.

Equally importantly those who educate our young to become so desensitized that they are willing to carry out such acts, should be punished as ordinary criminals, and not glorified as religious leaders.

Until our leadership learns not to create and rely upon minority votebanks, that will be difficult to achieve.

Our task is to keep working towrads that goal.

The problem is deeper,- how to change the mindset, how to change the development of the society, so that people do not grow up, and wish to commit such acts.

For this moment, let us extend our condolences and share the sorrow of teh many families who have been destroyed, even the ones, who sons joined the foolish venture.

This is not a police job either....it is a political take.........Solution lies there...police comes much later.Just paying condolances for the time being is not the only thing to do for the time being..........We must stand up and fight this menance if politicians have lost their common sense and the very dignity.Kudos to our military in every sense of things even if i agree to you that solutions are not militarily.

Folks don’t loose your cool; look at our history, a history of systematic slavery for thousands of years, a history of greed and narrow vision of our people. Thousands of examples abound. In laws of shivaji’s son sambhaji sold him to Aurangzeb who got cut his tongue , peeled off his skin, salt rubbed on his peeled body and his eyes gorged; he was one of the bravest warriors of India. Guru Govind’s Singh’s 2 sons were sold by their Brahmin cook of many years to Aurangzeb who got them plastered into a wall age 9 and 11 years. The Amar Singh’s of today who would sell their mothers for power and money. I can keep quoting till the cows come home

We have had brave guys but hardly anyone could live beyond 40 always betrayed by their brothers. This is our culture. We only have ourselves to blame. Learn from the Israelis what it is to live with pride and honor and teach a lesson to these haters of humanity. But for this sacrifice is required, inner strength needs to be developed. Virtris key nirantin ko he yoga kheta hain. Do we have the will power to do this?.. We need to create a vision and follow our dreams; this is what life is all about. Are we ready for this? We have a very dark history, the more you know it, the more it freighten's you.

Sumit Bhai, more then agreed ... this spineless impotent M*F* Patil must be fired or rather thro' in front of these terrorists !!

They wont kill him ... jaise kutta baasi ya saddi hui roti ko sungh kar chod deta hai aise hi woh bhi usse chodd denge... Koi apne hi koum ke bande(I mean kutte) ko kyu maarega

Baat emergency lage tab ki hi nai hai yaa hame apni best seva den eke liye ahwan kara jaye tab hi kare

Being a true citizen of a nation our duty is just not doing the job well for which we are paid but it is all about how well we perform our other duties those matters a lot and we may or may not be paid for them. I think you all knows what are all those duties one can perform upto his best ability.

Don’t say that I write the code well and the application developed by me is running perfect hence I did my job well as a citizen. There are so many things we can do but we don’t. We (Indian) failed totally and it is high time that we must confess our failures and learn a lesson out of it before it gets too late.

Bhai Mukesh thoda thanda ho jya pehla toh. Abb ek baat bata manne kee who take decisions? ans: Government! Right. Abb bhai i understand that there are so many things which we dont implement in our daily lives and u know why cos we are not used to it.
If govt. is not taking decisions in national interest than its better we as voters get rid of this govt. Aap kahoge saaare ek jaise hain but i say no. and the reason for this is when it comes to national interest BJP has always said POTA shuld be there, Afzal ko faansi aate hee denge, Dhara 370 etc. Last time BJP kee coalition govt. thee tab bhee Vajpayee kee governance iss Sardar se lakh darje badhiya thee.
I think atleast once BJP shuld win 278 seats and come up with full majority. I am not saying they are not corrupt or whtever cos corrupt toh saara Hindustan hai par baat hai akk jab sab kharab hain toh kam-se-kam usko chuno jo kam kharab ho.
Arr mukesh bhai aap keh rahe chalo maar dete hain etc. i think this is not possible and this is not even the solution. Kitno ko maroge saare cabinet ko which is not possible.
Well now one good thing is that elections are on the corner and in elections we are the decision makers so lets catch them in elections.
One question jo hum sabko puchna chahiye jab koi bhee Neta aapke ghar vote mangne aaye which is Afzal ko faansi kab hogi? lets check wht they say.
Abhimanyu Phougat

I SALUTE OUR BRAVE DEFENCE FORCES AND MUMBAI POLICE HEROS......2nd Grenadiers,Gen RK hooda(very down the earth Jat officer with a firm resolve....[had the honour of serving with him].........Navy commandos and Manesar tigers. We salute you all...but for you this nation could have long been enslaved.Keep up the good job in the service of motherland.Proud of you all.

This is a war declared by ISI on India. ISI has a hardline faction which is under the influence of people like retired Pakistani general Hamid Gul and General Khwaja. Hamid Gul is on record saying that he was willing to launch nuclear strikes on India even if it meant the end of Pakistan. These are fanatical hardliners who have not recovered from 1972 war debacle. It is this faction that probably planned the Kabul attack on Indian embassy. This is also their way of telling the Pakistani Politicians that they are in charge of the country.

Scott Carney is an American reporter who lives in Chennai. His analysis is quite accurate on the matter.

http://www.scottcarneyonline.com/blog/

These jihadist have almost a suicidal tendency and I do not see a good end to all this. Launching nuclear strikes is not such a crazy option considering these vile idiots have a suicide wish and may launch them anyway against India. I hate these muslims, but I hate some of our corrupt politicians even more.

I agree with these inputs but is it not a known thing to all of us as to what are the roots of this FASSAADD:

1) Absolute selfish and unpatriotic politicians: darbaar laggate hein aur public ki application le kar lutterron ko de dete hein ke dekh lena....public rajji akk bhai CM aaya tha badda sudhha....darkhast jibbe HCS/IAS tein diva di arr nyu bolya........issnei taggajje tein kar diye........what a way to make fool out of these guilible, selfcentred people....they deserve it in fact.Sarre police aale inki personal chakkari tahin......no public service...sab dadagiri..jadde dekho huddei e dakku........Court mein gaye tei huddei BAKKAL mangg deingge Kalle Coat aale.......This is what happens and people still find these ugly hoods as their PALAN HAARS.....pity!

2) Baniyan saarre bazarran mein uttanni e loot rozz machawein sein jitanni aatak ki ghattana aale din...unn nei peesse tein matlab...ke bera wei kunsse des mein rehwein sein.....these people need to be GHASITTOD on roads.

3) Pakistan is known and established GHUSTAAK...60 years of history is the testimony...........Hum kab yakeen kreingge ki Pakistan can never think good of this country.

4) Iss desh ke logon ko..SC,ST,JAT,RAJPUT.KHANNA,KATHURIYA,SARDAR,SINDHI,PUNJABI.....kahawan ka badda shok sei...inki identity..indian na sei........ye sein...God only can save this nation.

5) Jansankhya ka utpaat ittana akk kidde-makkoddyan nei sharam aawan laag gi sei...lagge raho.

6] Kiraye pe makkan chadhha deingge...50 rapiye jyada dedyo chahe LASHKAR-E TAIBA ka murga kyun na ho.....PEESSE DE DE ..chahe iss desh ke chheladde kar de.......Idiots.

7) Sarddak banna lyo chahe Metro ka structure....talle tein uppar tahin sab nei appna hissa chahiye....DOGS on a roll..

8) Babu aish karo arr FAUZZ kei DANDDA de dyo...ussnei kutta banna dyo..arr jib phoopha har Lathh dein tei unn bicharyan nei order de dyo.......SNOB and ANTI-NATIONAL BABUS

Lets...(right now and right here)

I strongly feel within to react and take responsibility at every level to be proud Indians.

1) Lets vow to vote for right candidature even if the concerned candidate is our friend/relative or associated with a political party which is not in the very interests of our Nation – be it a national level party, a state level party or some elections at Municipal committee level or at the very Gram Panchayat level. It’s difficult but is in the interests of our own prosperity, may not have short term gains but for sure have far reaching good results. Let’s educate our near and dear ones for the right thing and to vote for right candidate. People say ki “India me ‘samaj’ bada he logo se” and at times even if they are willing to go for it, the family and relation pressures (nepotism) don’t allow them - but “this ‘samaj’ is not above the nation”.

2) Lets build a strong self respect for ourselves – we elect MLAs/MPs to serve public and not to rule us. Let’s not beg to them for jobs, for petty favours – let’s start making them realized that they have won because of our precious votes. To get a job at state level, national level is our very own RIGHT (of course given the right qualifications) and not the politicians’ mercy spared to us. Lets not fall prey to these politicians' Inferior motives.

3) Lets first think being INDIAN before being Rajput, SC, ST, JATS, PANJABIS or any other castes. Let’s bridge gap between North Indians and South Indians, let everybody be linked to main streamline. One thing that I personally have observed is that International community has better respect for Indians than Pakis.

4) Lets practice not to take bribes and most importantly NOT to give bribes, it’s very hard to survive in India given the complete demoralized sarkari/non sarkari mahkma but we can make them to act even without bribing them, our job can get delayed but we will set a fair trend to ourselves and future generations – even in US, UK ye change ek din me nhi hua hoga, it has taken strong resolve of people to practice this, though these countries are not even full proof but whatever they have, its good. Situation in India is so not worse as seems, but we need to be vigil and channelize ourselves.

5) Lets respect each other, lets respect women and children. If we see some unsocial behavior, let’s cautiously OBJECT to it even if we are not concerned to it.

6) When people seek our guidance, let’s be transparent and honest, if don’t know enough, lets research about it and then don’t impose our mentality over them or hijack their thought process but give them subject to analyze and take their own decisions.

7) Lets follow traffic rules consciously, lets wear seat belt even if there is no body to give you a ticket. Let observe our constitutional duties with our own will.

8) Lets discuss things; let’s go in DEBATE mode – as we are rightly doing, everybody who is debating is contributing in one way or other. But most importantly after discussion, let’s take ACTION.

9) Let’s NOT FORGET THINGS SO EASILY, BE IT IC 814 PLANE HIJACK, BE IT PARLIMENTARY ATTACKS, HYDRABAD, JAIPUR, DELHI or MUMBAI ATTACKS…bouncing back to normal life quickly is important but forgetting things is not in our national interests ( this should flash in our mind when casting our votes to elect governance)

10) Lets…

Every BIT helps!!

I myself may not be adhering to all the above mentioned actions consciously or unconsciously, some of things I already imbibe in myself and some I have started observing firmly and I am happy and proud about it.

critiscism, questioning, agression, shouting are quite an easy job.
Those who are questioning govt and authorities look at urself first and this dude has really written fantastic abt the solution.

Sunil, my big applaud for ur this post. But with writing here we need to implement this. Merely writing is not a solution. We all shud follow these points and principles.

Salute to pride of our nation our real heros for their BRAVERY & MARTYRDOM
(i.e. NSG, Military & ATS)
moreover Media as well

Terrorists don't understand any language but 'B++' , Bullets & Bombs
so, feed them bastards with 'B's .. Bullets & Bombs, to the fullest with no compromise on any scale.

BJP won't do better!

G dhillon u live in a fool's paradise man, or maybe u suck up to the pandits or something. You think BJP is gonna do better about the terrorism siguation? HAH! They will screw up even more, didnt u hear about the pandit links recently in terrorist activities, that 1 pandit woman, the BJP are full of selfish greedy know-it-all that rape the hindu religion and use it to cause conflict. Raj thackery, modi, advani they are all greedy selfish people looking for attention and power, and when theres trouble they are nowhere to be seen.
Sure the congress may not have performed the way it should have but i still think they're better than BJP. Manmohan singh is the 1st real educated president we have had, he is a soft spoken polite man who wants the best for the country but who unfortunately faces selfish idiot politicians such as those constituent of the BJP as a barrier. (who promise people they'll give them 1kg rice free if they vote for them!, how cheap!)

That atal vajpayee was just a old man who use to shout poetry at people and people think he was so noble and ****, we need people like Manmohan who can at the very least TALK properly, give proper speeches which address REAL issues instead of dumb promises of extra rice to gain vote and cheap politics. If we had more manmohan singhs as politicians we wud definitely be better off.

The indian commandoes and police fought the terrorists well, i feel very sorry that some of them passed away. Every indian did their part- EXCEPT the power hungry selfish politicians. What they should have ensured after all the earlier bombings was that their was a SYSTEM in place, THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED. THEY DID NOT LEARN.

Bhai, these are all very good thoughts and every bit helps. However, this will not affect terrorist one bit in their mission to destroy the Indian republic, which is a top stated goal of Lakshar Taebba on their web site, or whatever they call themselves.

Bhagvad Gita...Arjun was having second thoughts, but Krishna said that as a soldier it was his Karma to fight the enemy. I am not going to preach as I am sure you are aware of the related passages in Gita. We are all soldiers in this war.

Brother, no doubt it will not affect terrorists because they are brainwashed and misguided people who are inhumane in their approach and don’t know what is bad and what is good. And that’s why we want to differentiate ourselves from them.

But then who cares about terrorists’ top agendas when we, our very own people are alert and responsible in discharging our duties? Terrorists might have any nefarious designs and motives, but we can NOT let them topple us if we imbibe patriotism which can only be imbibed with continuous practicing and observing on ourselves with good virtues. And no doubt, coming of maturity takes time; it might take another few years before we could proudly boast of our country in terms of defending ourselves against all ill designs but it’s never late to start afresh.

And do we think such a systematic and organized carnage can be carried out without local support? Terrorists came through water root which is heavily guarded by Indian Navy and coastal guards; they managed to get into hotel to setup Control rooms and easily making massacre at Railways station and hotels. And it was all so smooth for terrorists to carry out because they are perfect people? A blunt NO, our own people (could be politicians, remember centre elections are approaching…) might have sold themselves somewhere in the pipeline. No doubt, our Navy and Military commandos have laid down their lives and rescued people showing exemplary bravery but apni hi jameen par apne hi kinhi logo ne becha hoga apna jameer, nhi to en 10/11 terrorists ki kya majal jo es tarha hamare ghar me ghus kar hame hi maare.

Bar-2 ek hi question aata he dimag me – ki ye to hame aise hi maarenge, ek baar nhi, baar-2 maarenge; par ham kya kar rhe hen apne desh ko bachane k liye?

Our immature Media, a poor example of tough competitiveness was guiding terrorists to locate our commandos’ actions and positions through control rooms and TVs that terrorists had captured in hotel rooms. There is a thin line between being responsible and foolishness. There should be some strong “Code of conduct” for media till the time they come of age. And this can only be possible with strong governance in center and at states’ level. And we common people elect governance.

And I am no different from other common people, but again I strongly feel if I would be able to observe at least a few of virtues, it will be my true contrib. to my country and its people.
