I have the distinct honor and privilege of inviting you, your family, and friends to the 20th anniversary celebrations of North American Jat Charities (NAJC), the sister organization of Association of Jats in America (AJA), on Saturday, August 16, at 6:30 PM at Edison Hotel at 3050 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ 08837.
We will have the pleasure of having Miss America 2014, Nina Davuluri, as the chief guest. We have organized a very entertaining and informative program as well as dinner. The tickets for the program can be purchased at www.sulekha.com.
This is the first major such event for the Jat community in our area, and all of us need to show our support and commitment by being there along with friends including non-Jats. We are counting on your unwavering support.
As you may already be aware, NAJC is a non-profit tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. This institute is run by volunteers with Zero overhead expenses. OUR COMMITMENT:
Supporting and promoting educational attainment in rural North India for the rural, under-served community remains our priority. The North American Jat Charities, Inc. (NAJC) is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization driven by our mission to empower underprivileged rural communities by virtue of education and means to achieve positive social progress.
EMPOWERING THE GIRL CHILD:
One of the many grass-roots projects supported by the NAJC is the Shrimati Hoshiari Devi Girls Intercollege. The school, settled deep in the heart
of the villages of Uttar Pradesh offers a competitive and government accredited curriculum to over 600 girls. The School has helped promote
empowerment of the girl child, changing the landscape of a village that previously held limited opportunities for females.
Economic development within the village will thrive if the rural education system thrives. The benefit is real and ongoing. To learn more visit www.rathoragirlsschool.org
