Dear All jatlanders,

The oil off shore industry /marine field is one of the booming sector.
Not many of us are knowing about such career options, specially the oil off shore ships/rigs /platform etc.

I am slightly late in posting this information, but nevertheless, I wish to be a source of help & inspiration to young jats to invite them to the career in off shore.

How about posting some information on how to pursue
Let us say I am in 12th grade as of now, how I can proceed .... What all it takes for what post etc.

Dear sir, One need to be either a 10+2 PCM or a mech/electical Engineering (prefered) ., age below 25
Need to pass a test conducted by sponsoring company .

I had a friend of mine in Rigs and he is in south east asia, he told me about this career. I want to know, who all qualify the prerequisits. Woluld appretiate if you can through some light on this.

At Tolani Maritime Institute Induri, we are about to conduct the first ever course in private sector i.e.
Drilling & Well ServiceTechnology (Offshore course) In collaboration with Norwegian Drilling Academy, Caledonia Training & OCS Combine
One need to be just 10+2 PCM or a mech/electical Engineering (prefered) ., age below 25
