Bharat ek khoj was one of the brilliant teleseries of all time.....
I still remember Om puri playing Ashoka .....devastated peice of acting...
Do u remember Tamas ...by govind nihalini .....

O yeah... Neem ka ped...
Pankaj kapoor in that buddhhaa role right... story was about the upliftment of a Dalit family and then how immorality slips in with power..

It was an excellent creation indeed. My dad's Favourite.

Haan bhai Narendar that is unforgettable. I liked watching that, was among my favourites.

And how about Mr.Yogi? I think some people might know about it?:confused: :)

OFF THE MARK: But the advertisements in between them were terrible.Sometimes the duration of advertisements was even more than the serial itself.
Whenever DD telecasts cricket match, their cricket match has 5 balls in an over.One ball is always eaten by the long advertisement.;)

Especially that episode where the hero really liked this gal taller than him.... [:(]<I cun't find any emoticon for sad thus used this one here>

n bout Ads I must say, I used to love some of them... for instance Amul waali.......
TASTE OF INDIA.....
n Cadbury choclate.... A gift for someone u luv.....

Aur aaajkal to, ads hav become better than many popular soaps....Remember that award winning Ad for Yellow pages.... It was an excellent piece of creativity.

Its only those Banfool n Dandi Namak types which ever bothered me ..

Yes, you are right but i was busy in some other task simaultaneously and in between the anwer was posted and i was not aware. :)
