Statistics on child marriage in India are usually grim to read. Recently released data from the 2001 Census are no different. According to census figures, 1.5 million girls under the age of 15 are already married. Of these, 20% or about 300,000 are mothers of at least one child...Do we the so called educated people think of these statistics or just it is another headline of the newspapers or a topic to debate on.......
