In case on online exams it is important to skip the question immediately if you do not know the correct answer after reading it. Read it with awareness considering important words. Lot of practice will definitely give you best strategy suited to you to score maximum marks.
Try all questions in this way within 1/4 time at least. Now you know the questions which require little more time and some calculations and can be solved, try those now.
Then finally you try the tough questions which needs more time but you are confident that you can solve them. Here extra time required is already saved by you while answering questions immediately so you need not worry about time.
In case of negative marking,
A good strategy is always to try only those questions in which you are confident with two or three guess work provided that in your practice sessions total marks deducted due to negative marks is less than 20-25%. 10% negative marks is best considered as you are gaining marks due to guess work. In case of more than 25% negative marks you are loosing marks achieved from attempting correct questions.
Got it?
First of all select Tier 1 topics in all subjects and ensure 100% scoring in them by practicing for board as well as IIT or any other exams. At least 4 topics in each. Combine study of similar topics of different subject. Revise these at every level once in 3 months.
In deciding Tier1, there will be anout equal no of topics at Tier 2 and 3 too.
Once gained confidence in Tier 1, repeat the same process for Tier 2.
Some will find even this exhaustive enough. Do not worry, with this you can confidently appear in Mains atleast.
That confidence and joy of taking it easy may boost efficiency drastically.
Try all other options for your career too as per your psychometric test results. The door for your career is open already, you just give a sincere, whole hearted effort in all options for you.
Suggestions are general personal in nature and consult family/ teachers before action, as one must understand person and his/ her capacities.
