Hi buddy,

I think first you need to map ur intrest/skills with your future plans. As you are working in Non-IT organization in IT, I suggest you to figure out wheteher you want to be on CRM or ERP.. Try to hone your skills on the functional area, for example, if you have sound idea about the business function, then application will be cake walk for you..

Check the relatd market opportunites and try to exploit your current expirence. Both Oracle apps and SAP are doing well in current scenario. I think you only need to figure out your functional area and then try to map it with the merits/demerits of these platforms..

Best paid consultants are neither Apps guys nor SAP guys. Ppl who are making money are functional guys who can map the requirements to any system on the basis of thier functional understanding.

Cheers,
Yudhvir Mor

well since m very loyal to SAP i wud recommend SAP only.....

then the module wud b acc to ur current background.....n like nishant suggested it cud b ABAP....but m hearing thr is a slowdown in ABAP requirements.....so u cud also do BI...which is again a technical module.....

v hav many authorized centres in n arnd delhi...so u can chk them out...but the fees of nearly all wud b arnd 3 lacs for 20 days.....

all the best !!!!

Hi Brejesh,

Since you are already an OCP i would personaly recommend you Oracle Apps.It would be an easy transition for you and i feel Oracle Apps is equaly good Technology.

Rest i dnt understand why would an Asst IT Manager go Technical?

Best Regards,
Tejveer

well TJ yeh maine apne office ke education waalon se hi suna hai.....

u c now SAP gives some kinda placement help too.....

n they said ki ABAPers ki placement mein sabse zyada prob aa rahi hai coz thr has been a slowdown....

so shayad experienced loggon mein prob na aaye...but freshers ke liye surely prob aa rahi hai.....
