See the pending works for Sirsa and Bhiwani dist are maximum whereas for "Rohtak" nothing is pending .......Both Sirsa and Bhiwani seats were won by "Congress MPs"......... What more proof people need for understanding that other dists are sidelined.....

And yes, thsi report is not old .... it is of Feb 2009.... i.e, latest !!!

KD@: I have no idea about the things you mentioned.Nor Do I have such intentions.As I stated its very clear that plateforum is for youth to choose from a reasonably better image available thorugh our forum.Thanks for your input.

@Anju:-Thanks for your provided link.I guess it is neccessary for all to chek such records for their representative in Lok Sabha.When everywhere we put such a great emphasis on education, why dont we choose a educated leader from our area.? Any kind of documented information is useful for the history of candidate.

@Kapil:-We need more of your skills in poll kholl of candidates than your lust for spicy items;)

@Vivek,Anil, Sachin:-My motive is very clear.I want everyone to chek reality stats.Thats it. On a personal note, I discard the thought of Vaansvad in politics anywhere. It blocks the place for fresh youth and make them their supporters only.Be it Chautalas( New entery is Digvijay Chautala, Son of Ajay), Hoodas, Bishnois, Ghandis, Yadavs, Devegoudas, Pilots, Bansilal's , Thakreys, Ramdases, Sindhias,Badals and many unsaid family feudal politicians. It seems we are not yet free of feudal form of thinking. Devotion to any leader is good in terms of ideal or other reasons but not with blind eyes.

From every supporter's point of view their own leader is the epitome of greatness but just remember we are discussing humans who would be representing us.Any information which is going to make us pro or anti to any party or leader is much needed.

We must question else no one would take care after that.Questioning for a better future.How Opposition is being in their tennure of governance and how present govt utilised out belief in them? Has opposition party/leader improved on what they have been thrown out of power?


Else we end up beating the ghost of election.Democracy is for us, by us and to us. So blow anyone but be factual not blind.

Mate , there is no specs of 25 lcs , 25 lacs was spent on wedding , demand is for merc! :)

and also of some loans.

I do not want to be in the controversy and also I have never believed in case specific allegations. But let me say a couple of statements ( very diverse , so am hedging myself ;) ) :
1) One of my close buddies said this : "Jistai apni bahu hi na kaabu mein raakhi gayi , woh desh nai key sambhaalega " !!!

2) No girl would marry a person for the sake of torturing him only etc. Divorce is not an easy option , nor a preferred one. So cannot say that Geetika alone was the whole culprit , infact from a neutral standpoint i would be more biased to believing the Geetika's view of story:)

Then again fat tails exist , so I do not have proof for not believing Sachin's 100 % words :)

Oh, my mistake. Actually link main to 15 lakh ke loan ka rolla bhi lag raha hai. Which is even lower. But then I read another article yesterday where the demand was in some crores. So this point is immaterial now.

As for dost waali baat, kaafi vaahiyat hai :). He has put all the onus on the guy! Imagine that you get married to Rakhi Sawant (don't puke, just asking you to imagine). Tujhe lagta hai tu kaboo main rakh lega :D? I know there can still be an argument that you do all checks before marriage, so if there is something dodgy, you will find it out. But irrespective of that, "kaabu main rakh lena" is a rather silly argument- kyunki doosra aadmi bhi insaan hai jiska apna dimaag chalega, koi gaay bakri nahin.

And point number 2 happens in real life. Some people have weird mindsets and agendas. It is not a common phenomenon, but it is not unknown too. There are lots of instances of divorce/anti-dowry related laws being abused by the female side.

By the way, none of this implies that I think Geetika was in the wrong. I was just giving counter arguments. My knowledge about the case is limited to what I read yesterday. And going by the silence of both pro and anti-Hooda gangs here, I doubt anyone really knows. Sab hawa mein teer chala raha the.

I appreciate people's individuality , something that is cheap per me might not be by someone else , and just because of some stupidity/cheapness at times , I do not get away from people! :)

Meanwhile the statement i mentioned was just to show the two extremes of views people can have , nothing else! :)


Next , I do not get what you meant by showing "literacy" , and I do not see reasons why we cannot talk about Divorce :confused: ! And i was not at all personal , you can check that , also I did not reach and preach any conclusions. Just gave a very general statement.

Not sure what made you believe that this was breaching the personal space of someone ? :)

An incompetent good for nothing politician that doesn't belong to any region nor any caste; EXCEPT to caste and creed of HATE,... as in a life promoting hate-politics!

If there is one prime candidate that should be stripped to his dirty 'kachcha' and garlanded with some (Made in India) chappals, and put on top of any 'non-self-respecting' gaddha, it's HIM!!!...(The fact that he was not put away for life under NSA, in itself speaks volumes of the Maharashtrian politics!)

I sure hope a day comes when citizens' of India take their diversity as a major strength and something to be proud of; and as that real reason we are such a force to reckon in the rest of the world and not be easily divided by such 'back-boneless' politicians like Raj Thackeray who try and revive their non-exisistent political lives by instigating mislead individuals to create mayhem and murder.........:mad:

As many as 34 candidates from various parties in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh have criminal records, according to an analysis made as part of a national campaign by NGOs.

The parties fielding these candidates include the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Congress, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Samajwadi Party, the National Election Watch (NEW) said in a statement Wednesday.

NEW represents more than 1,200 NGOs and other citizen-led organisations working on electoral reforms, improving democracy and governance in India.

The first phase of Lok Sabha polls will take place April 16.

'Out of 315 contestants fighting for 22 seats, 34 have pending criminal charges against them, many of them very serious. Candidates with generous means have given transparency a complete go-by by not disclosing their income tax, PAN in the affidavits,' the survey revealed.

'The careful analysis of the affidavits has revealed that a large number of candidates have not given valuations of their assets (like vehicles, gold, land, buildings etc) which is in complete violation of the judgement of the Supreme Court of 2003,' said the statement.

'The number of contestants with assets worth more than Rs.10 millions stands at 64 (out of the 315). This points to a very clear trend of growing money power in politics among parties across the spectrum,' it added

Neither of the party wants to believe in a person with fair image. I wonder how these criminals would be responsible for saving democracy, I doubt.

Then you will agree that a politician also have an individuality and PRIVATE life. We can discuss "DIVORCE" in general but not a person specific? People commenting here vivaciously need to think how CLOSE they have been to Deepender or Dr.Geeta before they can judge them as a person? How many times they visited their house or how many times they consulted these members before they filed those cases, whose links are found on google?

Aur bahu kiski kad bhaj jaa ke bera? Arr lugayi tai fer bhi bhaj kaiye painda chhudaya kare loggan ka ke? uss nai thoda ghar chhodna paddya kare, ghar mai rehtey huay hi 70 jagah muh maar sakta hai:o
