Dear Members,

If you were offered a choice between struggling in india or Settling in US. Which one you would prefer...............but please express a reason as a base for your choice.....Be true to yourself........and keep in mind the present & future of our country and US( or Western)..........as western countries future does not look bright.

My view is : For business, India is a good place to invest your time and money. In long run, you can reap the benefits.

Whereas for employment/jobs, US or any other developed country is a good place to work. You get a good decent environment to work. You have a work life balance.

Poll and title questions are un-refined. It seems to suggest that there is no struggle in US OR one would fly to US and right from the airport they will take you in your settlement. As far as brightness of future is concerned no one can predict that accurately about India and US. Life in Western countries are more competitive than in India. If given a choice, I would roam around everywhere and would like to die in my village.

Its hard to generalize. Everyone's situation is different; family irresponsibility, financial situation, qualification, career options, short term versus long term goals, and so on

Bhai yaa $20-30 hazaar @ month income kaunsa western country mai sai? As per US census bureau, per capita annual money income is $27,334 ($ 2278 @month). Are you trying to say that an average American has less purchasing power than an average Indian?

Bhai ek be try kar ke dekh le and decide later.
You can always come back to India, if would want to.
As another brother mentioned in this thread, it really depends upon your own situation and interests.
Both side has some drawbacks and advantages, it depends on your priorities

what is literal meaning of "BALAKH"? Is it name of some city?

Yes Friend,

Your guess is right; Balkh and Bukhara are in central Asia. The proverb has its roots to medieval times to discourage drain of youth to other countries from India advising people not to go to far off places and to arouse in their minds a sense of belonging to their mother country portraying it as the best place to enjoy life.

Thanks

Yah to sari bahas ka nichod kadh diya Sangwan Bhai.

Benefits and drawbacks are everywhere. But main thing i think is that you can survive in worse circumstances only in your country, locality or Samal/Pariwar but not in foriegn.

waha bina paise ke 2 din bhi rahna muskil ho jayega...

struggle to har jagah h chahe India ho ya USA.....India me sambhalane k liye uske parants and friends to h,jiski vajah se uska motivation level zero ni hota.
jab bande ko struggle karna padta h aur koi b uske sath ni hota to halat aur jyda kharab hoti hai.

baki India me struggle ya USA me struggle karna ye sab to situation per depend karta hai,koi b apna desh vaise he ni chodta,vo b ek majboori hoti h (paisa orr job sabse badi majboori hoti h).

Bhai yaa $20-30 hazaar @ month income kaunsa western country mai sai? As per US census bureau, per capita annual money income is $27,334 ($ 2278 @month). Are you trying to say that an average American has less purchasing power than an average Indian?

And looks like ever American native is getting this $2278 in his account every month. If you don't have a working girlfriend in Europe then life is more sort of hell. To share expenses you need a partner.I agree with those who says that they have seen more poverty in Europe and America. Also these countries are not asking every Tom Dick and Harry to land on their port and earn, they are looking for intellectuals not idiots.

Population is coming down not because they are highly aware or do not want children but because they are not able to feed children and don't want responsibilities. This trend also started in India soon we will be following them :-)

You can run from problems but can not hide from them you have to sort things out.
