A general comment; unconnected with the subject of the thread but related with the topic of post:

No, It is wrong to say that published stuff cannot be debated. Fact of the matter is published material is also scrutinised by the scholars to judge their genuineness and validity.

In published forms such as various news papers, journals etc. opinions of the authors also find adequate place and if they do not encompass all the points of view and data and then go unchallenged they become secondary sources of research which are used by scholars to advance their arguments. Therefore before such stuff becomes a source of research, they have to be critically analyses and evaluated with the help of facts.

I agree with you, my bad I could not write it clearly, I implied facts can be debated but not denied. It should not be hard for anyone who believes Julien Assange said so with a credible source, I can create several such quotes myself anonymously but what good will that do besides blind folding people with wrong information?

Also authencity of the facts has much to do with the reputation of the people posting the facts as well, you may relate it to the 'Gadariya and Bhediya' story.

हमारे संविधान में कई ऎसी त्रुटियाँ हैं जिसे दूर करना अत्यंत ही आवश्यक है .सबसे पहले धर्मनिरपेक्षता की सही व्याखया होनी चाहिए .इस शब्द की सही व्याख्या नहीं होने के कारण इस शब्द के होने का लाभ एक विशेष सम्प्रदाय को पहुंचाने के लिए किया जा रहा है और दूसरे सम्प्रदाय विशेष को इससे भरपूर हानि . जाने अनजाने में देश को तोड़ने के लिए इस शब्द "धर्मनिरपेक्षता'' का इस्तमाल बहुत खूबी से किया जा रहा है .धारा ३७० का लागू रहना और सामान्य नागरिक क़ानून का न होना ही हमारे देश की एकता और अखण्डता के लिए आज सबसे बड़ा खतरा है . आज कश्मीर जो टूट की कगार पर खड़ा है और कश्मीर घाटी से हिन्दुओं का पूर्ण नाश इसी धारा की देंन है . सामान नागरिक क़ानून न होने के चलते एक विशेष सम्प्रदाय को इसका विशेष लाभ दिया जा रहा है .
