Reena, hope its going to be better than the last one. Many more people joining this time... n hope the rains do not play spoilsport.
Brig(Retd) Asil Singh Ahlawat is being honored by Jats in this meeting.
Addy, this is the least we civilians can do- Get Together.
Wish we too could contribute someway as you are doing- serving not only in your country but making peace in foreign lands too. we salute you, Major Sa'ab and all the soldiers in our forces. Jai Hind.

I was discussing with one of our senior members, Dr Sangwan - we all just Get Together, each time we end up introducing ourselves as new people come in each meeting, now we should organize some activity too.
Dr Sangwan commented- All Jats coming Together is a Big activity in itselfJ
But surely we are trying to make these meetings more meaningful, fruitful…

Anil, we had a great time today.
what is a Jat meet without Jatu jokes?
so there were lots ... and lots.
around 125 people joined, plus kids. had great fun ... lunch, games...
we were there from 10.45 am till 5pm and people didnt want to leave. so you can imagine how all ...old..young... and kids...must have enjoyed.
God too knew there was a Jat meet, so it didnt rain during that time. the meet was in lawn... clouds would just show up...and move. it was only when all was over that it began to rain.
shall try to put here some pics once i get ...
Next meet on 12 Nov.

it was really a very good event that took place yesterday. i had a nice time there meeting people and making new friends. very good efforts had been put by you and other organizers which were clearly visible.

Great step...and yes needless to mention 125 people Jat meet in Pune is big sign that jats are progressing further and are not just limited to Haryana/Rajasthan/UP...

Thanks Swasti. It is all a joint effort.
But I would say that this time since all you youngsters took an active part, it was even more enjoyable experience.
Earlier children used to feel left out but this time with much more space for them to play around and then the games interested them.
With new people joining we shall have more ideas to make these meets more interesting.
Anil ji, there were 2-3 from your Banglore group, now working here in Zenzar.
Pl don’t ask me the names since I met So many new faces yesterday and I am bad at remembering First names and many people do not use Surname.
we shall be mailed the details of all we got filled up in the forms there.
But all jats coming are surely enjoying this effort made by us.
Sorry to say but Jat Sabha fails to make any impact here.
1) One reason I feel is neither they involve women nor children. And just men coming together and discussing some boring things serves no purpose.
2)Another reason I feel is that in Jat Sabha , since there are Posts involved, things get too politicized. People are more interested in grabbing posts rather than working to bring community together.
Here in this Group we have formed, nobody holds any post. In first few meetings I had taken the initative, with few others - things worked and now people just do not want this to stop. There are many volunteers now.
So we now see that each time a new set of people organizes things. Everybody gets a chance to have the experience of organizing and the problems that one has to face. So everybodys’ efforts are respected.
And its all contributory- we give out food coupons at the venue itself. Sometimes we falter on the numbers as few people confirm on phone but do not come though we order food according to confirmations. We are working to solve this problem too.
Well we are all happy and enjoying these gatherings.
