Bill Gates In India and he said a lot abt india in Realizing Indias Potential Seminar and he thinks India is one of the best economy and India will shine in Future. But after that Rahul Bajaj Asked some questions from Bill Gates that Bill gates is saying to use digital technology to people of India but can this increase the salary of Indian employees. He again Asked abt Education environment which is only limited to IITS and IIMS but basic infrastructure is totally in disasters position. He again Asked one question abt Corruption that how Bill Gates think that corruption will be abolish from India. Most of the microsoft products are not cheap in India so how a common men life can be changed if He/she can't afford to buy these products. One more thing Bill Gates said is that INdia dont have a leader who is dedicated in IT field and who really wants to show the way to the people. So is it true than wht abt Azim Premji and Narayanmurti why they are not coming ahead and lead from the front.
When i read all this i sincerely thought and i realize Bajaj's questions are really from the ground reality.
Wht members think abt this share ur views on this.

Bhai Abhimanyu,

Almost everyone in India knows how to ask questions which are based on ground reality, but no one talks of solving them. Bill Gate is investing money in India and providing employment to large number of people, This is helping the income of many middle class families and thereby improving their purchasing power. Look it its cascading effect upon economy. Look at the effects of internet technology on India's economy. As I have memntioned many times over, even Lord Krishna can not make every India rich. Today we have almost 500 million people who have middle class status. Number is increasing slowly. Public demand for improved infrastructure is forcing government to change policies and investors are now coming forward. Today we have a determined India on international scene. Think of any combination of international blocks, India is everywhere now.

Let us ask Rahul Bajaj as to what he has done to improve India ? Why he has been selling just outdate two wheeler technology for last 50 years ? Didn't he know that his people were helping black market on scooters in India?

RK Ji,

Scooter ki baat pe yaad aayi 1976 ki baat.

During the emergency years, I have personally met the grandson of the then Ex President of India (No Names Please) who was selling Bajaj Scooters in Black. He had come to meet someone in Sonepat and I happened to be present. Those days it was a status symbol to own a Bajaj Scooter.

Rahi baat Mr Bajaj ki, actually it is a hilarious situation. He can't sort out the differences with his own brother and he is asking questions to Bill Gates.

Coming back to the topic. You are right. Probably the pressure of middle class Indian is going to make the government move in the direction of development.

Regards,

JS Malik

Bill Gates should not have any doubt on capabilities of Azim Premji and Narayanmurti as able leader in IT service industry, nobody have doubt on thier leadership and thier contribution in growth of IT industry. Bill Gates talks about using IT in day-to-day life because he sell product which are used in day-to-day life. I think he need leaders who can persuade people to use his products.

All CEO's from big companies around world don't give much importance to India's cheap qualified work force (China is much cheaper) but they look India as big market for thier own products, Bill Gate is no expection.

Nobody has any doubts on the capabilities of the names you have mentioned. What is wrong in persuading people using modern technology ? Do you expect people to count and multiply on fingers for another coming 100 years ? What do you mean by looking at India as a big market? Does market mean anything without purchasing power of the people ? Wake up to the realities. India is banging at the world doors now... World needs India as much as India needs world.

India is undergoing a latent changes very rapidly. Irrespective of party politics, her policies are now guided by larger public interest. One single factor, which has triggered India in action, has been the China factor. India has become really proactive lately as some of the following developments suggest;

1. India beats U.S. on direct investment destination (http://www.bangkokpost.com/breaking_news/breakingnews.php?id=66839)

2. Why Southeast Asia is turning from US to China (http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Southeast_Asia/GL10Ae01.html)

This second development has triggered ASEAN countries to rope in India into almost all of their affairs to counter balance China. India in turn has been using Japan to counter balance China in SAARC and ASEAN.

3. India gets entry into Nuclear Fusion Project (http://www.indianexpress.com/full_story.php?content_id=83614)

Then we have Russians signing the co-production deals for fifth generation fighters etc. As a whole nation seems to be moving in right direction in spite of all distractions. Saudi King attending the forthcoming republic day parade is ultimate diplomatic victory for India. This will help us to deal with Pakistan and Iran both in a much better way. Most interesting statement has come from Bill Gates when he spoke of his wish to see India US and China as one country. This shows how far we have moved back to our ancient glory. My gut feeling is that in our lifetime we will see India joining the league of most powerful nations once again irrespective of who is in power. As far as I can see, it’s the India public who is driving our politicians lately and not other way.

I will understand my country as a powerful and developed when my village will have good condition road, timely transportation, easily availability of water to every individual, a senior secondary school, separate school for girls, at least 8-10 hours availability of electricity, reasonable sell prices for the grains to the farmers and harmony and peace among villagers.
India is shining no doubt but when we see the rural condition of our Country, it tells that still there is a long way to go. People in my village have to walk 4-5 km to reach nearest city. Girls are unable to keep their study continue after 8th class due to unavailability of secondary school. Students are not aware about their goal (LAKSAY).Teachers are not coming at the time in the school and remain busy in politics talks even in class period time. Rural populations have nothing to do what is happening in rest of the country because they remain busy to earn 100-50 any how to feed the belly of his family. A middle class women in the city passes her time by changing the channel of the TV where in the village she has to go on MAJDORI along with her husband. What I want to say that there is a big difference between rural and urban population. HINDUSTAN seems divided into two parts one side there is INDIA which is represented by the people of multiplexes cultures and lifestyles with every luxury facility and in other side there is BHARAT where public works hard from moarning to late night but can’t get atelast basic facilities of livelihood. UN becharo ko kya pata ki kaun Bill Gates hai and Kaun Rahul Bajaj hai.. UNKO TO CHINTA rehti hai is baat ki ki apni zindagi to GUJAR gai lakin in Bachoo ka kya hoga...

To change the face of this reality we have to adopt a new method, we have to move fast on every front along with government machinery. So that every Indian can say I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN from the bottom of the heart otherwise BHOOKE pait se MERA BHARAT mahan nahi keha ja sakta....

Need Of Hour

Yes Bajaj's questions r significant but concurrently he admits that he does not know to use computer still they r using this wonder machine in disposal of their functions. No doubt this machine has revolutionised the way human live.As we know that a single idea can change universe. So no one should doubt that this effort of Gates will not fruit India. If v see otherside that politicians r doing no more for the general public, it is the corporate world that is improving life of poeple. So it is the need of hour.

Situations of spme villages are bad and cause is our own people who dont want to do anything, so in this regard u have to wake up ur own villagers and try to do something, baaki bhai i know situation is really worse in rural india. But as Rajender uncle said it is not possible to make everyone rich, but this is true that situation is improving slowly. It will take time and if we all get together and dont take much interest in our personal issues and think abt India than only whole india can shine.

ram ram abhimanu bahi,
aap yeh kahte ho ki evryone cant became reach but in india in near future that is not possible that every one can have basic needs of life
(roti ,kapara,or makan)
in india todays condition is same when we take a look past i said that is some manner the past is better than the future bcz today not in villages but also in cities like jaipur which is the capital of rajasthan people surviving a life which is totaly unberable.
thousands of children doing labour. my personel experience in that manner is
today when i coming college a boy whic age is about 12 is working the work of collecting poly bags
how can we say that is india shining?
"abhi bhaut kuch karna ,sirf kehana hi kafi nahi kuch karke dikhana hai"

Bhai Neeraj

Doing work is not bad at all at the age of 13 cos even in all western countries kids work but if it along with the studies. Well thats true that still lots of things to be done but i m not agree with ur point that still people are dying by hunger and they dont have clothes. I beleive if anyone is really keen to do work( doesn't matter its small or big) can earn enough in India to feed his/her kids but the reality is that still lots of people dont want to work. I know when we need labours to work in our fields we dont get and people from Bihar are the only labours avail;able nowdays. I remember lots of incidence when young hatta katta guy came to our house for Beggaging my father always ask him to work and say tht if u dont have work i provide u work in my own fields but than they say Babuji dena hai toh de do nahi toh Kam ki matt kaho. So wht do u think this kind of people and i know there are lots and lots of these kind of people in India. So wht can a Bill gates do and wht Rahul Bajaj can do abt these kind of people. So why these small kids at the age of 13-14 begs becos there parents dont do anything.
I know still lots of things to be done but to get India on track everyone have to contribute.
