So far he has been known more because of his relationship with Sushmita Sen than his acting. But Randeep Hooda says that his forthcoming movie ‘D’ will change that.

This 28-year old youngster from Haryana has tried hands on various professions before entering the film world. A guy of few pretensions, Randeep has worked as a waiter (in Australia), a cellphone salesman and a cabbie. And he doesn’t consider any work menial.




It was because of his uninhibited attitude that he was roped in by Mira Nair to act in Monsoon Wedding . And now Randeep is waiting to embark on an ambitious Bollywood career with the forthcoming release of Ram Gopal Varma movie ‘ D ’ which is the prequel to the filmmaker’s underworld thriller Company .

While Randeep is unwilling to talk about his personal life, he does care to comment that he is unperturbed by the label ‘Sush’s man’. He says: “people will begin to see me as more than that after D”.

About the film, he says he plays an ambitious gangster named Deshu in it. He downplays any comparisons of his character to Dawood Ibrahim, but says that Deshu is a man who makes a conscious decision to be a gangster.

In fact, so impressed is Varma with Randeep’s work in ‘D’ that he has signed him for another film titled ‘Shock’.

On the Top he is a JAT brother our blood God bless this jat blood.
every one go and see D atleast 10 times and in theatere.

info about randeep.

he is from rohtak- his village is on gohana road but family is settled in rohtak.
good friendly chap- educated from school of sports rai,sonepat and later went to australia(still speaks teth haryanvi,as required)
i last met him in 1998.
hope he is successful in his ventures.

after watching D i feel that randeep will go a long way. i am not sure how would he perform in romantic scenes but he is perfect man for the D type roles.
his biggest strength according to me is his voice. i hope he makes his place in bollywood.
 
Well I kinda know him. He is a far relative of mine though i have never met him in person. he was in Rai school. Then he went to DPS (RK). He used to be speak very teth haryanvi that time. actually my brother was his junior in both schools and know him very well. he is a national player of horse riding and swimming.(on this basis he got admission in DPS). he was quite famous in DSP as he was good looking and very ladaka.then he went to australia , melbourne to do his bachelor. he apparntly ended up in doing his masters too from aus. his family lives in rohtak. his parents are Doc's. he was always involved in drama since childhood. then he came back to india and went to bombay and tried his luck. he has a good relationship with nasurdeen shah and i guess he helped him to get this movie "D" (i m not quite sure). well the rest of story v all know.
My personal feeling after seeing the movie, he will rise in the industry.

Sure the lad wiil long way to make his mark in the bollywood and he has really very good look and has great voice .may god bless him .

D had its first show at rohtak and he was their in the show. He has the potential to become good actor.
 
Just now watched this movie D. The whole movie revolves around him. Randeep has come here to stay in Bolywood. He would certainly go a long way. Best of luck Randeep. After all Sush is not a fool to have chosen him for her bf.
