Dear Members

I'm glad to inform you that one of our most active members Mr. Ravi Chaudhary who run his site Jathistory.com has come to Delhi. Mr. Ravi is Management consultant in Toronto (Canada) . Originally he is from Meerut. He will be in India for another 10 days. He'll be interacting here with some of the top political people and high dignitories. Some of our members are planning to have a few brain storming meetings with him and high dignitories concerning the vital social, political and historical issues of Jats. Any member interested in participating in these meetings is most welcome to contact.

Really a nice initiative. Very interesting subject to be discussed. I would definelety like to be a part of it. It will be nice if it can be managed in the evening hours.

Dear Dr. Sahab,

What I would suggest is that.. You please coordinate with Ravi Ji and find a suitable time and place where some of us could gather and listen to his viwes... A sort of lecture on Jat History....

May be he could choose the era he wants to speak over.... and make us cognizant of our past!!!

Just a thought if this works out.. Individual interaction would make it pretty disturbing for the visitor as well!!!

I surely will love to be a part of the meetings.. whenever and wherever possible!!

what a shame i cant be there ........ keep up the good work folks ... and Ravi should be supported and commended for his work for the community ... I regard him as one of the major contributors to Jatland and Jat History

I am back now in Toronto.

The trip was , as usual short, and I had less than the time I had budgeted to meet our Jat historians, Sudhir, Narendra, Shobit etc as other commitments took away what time I had.

To my regret I was was unable to meet BurdakJi, who was a visit to Delhi, and had to be content with a telephone call

On my return I had to contend with business commitments, which left little time for History.

This should change back to normal now.

Hopefully the next trip will be different, and I will be able to give more notice. Tentatively I am planning to be back in India February or March 2007, and again in summer 2007.

Maybe we can have a small seminar and dinner, organized.

I had the pleasure to visit Sanjay Mann's village Alipur, and listen to his detailed account of the village and its history.

Dr Vir Singh of the Surajmal Education Society is , I am glad to report, is steadfastly carrying on his excellent work in organizing seminars and research into Jat History.

I should be leaving for Delhi about the 10th of Dec.

Trip will be till 27th or so of Dec.

I will post the contact numbers and details as matters get a little clearer.

I should have at least two days in Delhi, around the 23-25 of Dec.

We can plan a meet.

Trip will be confirmed in the next few days. I will post contact numbers at that time
