This thread is started for all the soccer/football lovers on this site that are ready, waiting and supercharged for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany!!!...

The action kicks off in the first week of June, guys! (First match starting on the 9th of June 2006).
Here is the Match Schedule link from the official website of the world cup-
http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/schedule.html

I for one can't wait for the super action and really stretched on the imagination right now, as to who should I be rooting for this time (Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, England or the Dutch!?!)....anyways, therefore would really like to start a discussion on the teams and who your favourites are etc.
Then maybe during the games we can discuss certain matches too, hopefully!

Anyways, enjoy and see you sports fans soon!!!

I am also very excited. Though I usually play soccer but am very bad in remembering players name, games, scores, scandals and other details necessary for soccer chat:-(... I like to talk by legs when it comes to soccer:-))... will get some knowledge from thread like this.

I have no clue how I missed it in the first place, so anyways; let's pack our bags here and join the action there!!!...

See ya there as part of the discussion!...(I guess we can just let this thread die a natural death...............)
