Dear members

Kindly allow me to introduce myself. I am an Arbitrator, Consultant and Advocate, practicing at Delhi High Court and Supreme Court. I have been assigned the task of forming an “association of whistleblowers” in India by India’s most famous discussion group known as e-GOV INDIA. In that benign drive, I will be supported by the top most government officials and other professionals. Since it must be a balanced association, I request group members of this esteemed site to be a part of this national drive. Kindly participate, so that the interests of all communities, including Jats, are duly represented.

Dear Mr Dalal,

I am sure many of us will be very happy to join the proposed association. However, I would like the following information before joining the proposed association;

1. Has this association been registered under the society act?
2. What are its by-laws?
3. What are the type of memberships?
4. What is the fee structure for various memberships?
5. Who are the office bearers of this association?

Thanks
Rajendra

Dear Mr Rajendra

Thanks for your kind support.

Kindly note that the idea is in its priliminary stage and we are planning the modes and modalities of the same. My basic purpose of making a request to this group is to enable its learned members to analyse the idea and to provide constructive suggestions for the same. Another purpose is to involve the learned group from the very inception. I believe in transparency and sharing, that is why I am sharing the whole concept and planning from the scratch.

I will keep on posting the details and latest developments from time to time.

Keep in touch.

Dear Mr Sanjay Dahiya

Thanks for your encouraging words and kind support. The fact is that there is a group named e-GOV INDIA that consists of members representing various segments of the life. All of them are experts in their respective field. A week before I suggested to form an association of honest people who may help their members in case any threat is faced by another member to his/her life or limb. Generally, a person raising voice against wrongs of the governmental functioning is at great risk and practically there is no security or protection to that person. With an aim to provide such protection, the association in question is proposed to be formulated.

Now a starking reality that I found was that there is a disproportionate representation among such associations and much less Jats participation. My basic aim is to provide a secular and non discriminatory caste composition so that all communities may represent adequately.

This is a tough task and I need the assistance and help of the present young, dynamic and energetic group so that the segments representing this learned group can have a say.

Let me clarify that I am not the sole person who is behind this project and I am working in association with the group mentioned above. Of course, the idea of including the members of this learned group is mine.

I will keep on posting the relevant information.

Thanks once again.

Dear Mr Dalal,

Many countries have such associations. Might be you can adobt and modify their aims and objectives to suit India scenerio. Let us face it that only watchful citizens can safeguard the interests of nation. Polticians will always work under their narrow political compulsions and beaurocrates under their old mind set. Ordinary citizens have to be be sensitised to safeguard national interests by forming pressure groups.Such pressure groups must cut across community lines and must be universal in their approach. Sooner we start better it is..Such organisations should now allow political activists to be its members, else it will loose its purpose.

Dear Mr Rajendra

Thanks for your valuable suggestions. I agree with you regarding taking a leaf from other sources and regarding the composition of the association. This is exactly what struck my mind when I talked to experts of various fields. The fact is that the association must be meant for common people and it should not be a reflection of any political party.

Kindly note that I have been sending requests to various persons to join this group and the work is in progress. Kindly consider it as your own association and do the needful.

Thanks once again.

Dear Brother Dev

Thanks for your kind suggestions and support.

The aims of the proposed association are twin in nature. The first aim is to provide every sort of protection, security and assistance to those brave hearts who are willing and who are, in fact, fighting against various social evils, including the governmental wrongs and corruption. The second aim is to collectively fight against those wrongs and evils.

As you are aware the Government is planning to enact a “Whistleblower protection law” in India. The quest must not end here. We must also contribute towards this benign objective. I suggest that we must form an “association” on national level where all personnel and experts engaged in different activities and fighting against corruption and mismanagement can unite. This association must inevitable include members from IAS cadre, legal experts, Judges, honest government officials, media personalities, etc. The idea is very simple. An association of “honest community” must be there where each member will protect the other member. A chain has to be made covering the entire India where local support may be taken whenever need arises. This way no individual member will be vulnerable to threats to life or limb and it will be next to impossible to harm the interests of even a single member of this community. Kindly note that other Groups are also willing to form such an association. Together, we can make a big difference.

Jats have been a crucial factor in various revolutions and I hope in this matter as well they will play their role. Looking forward for the valuable assistance of this brave, young and dyanamic group.

Regards

Praveen Dalal
